PAGE 1: The first page has a dialogue box setting the story at the top of the page. It has a large splash panel on top with a small horizontal panel on the bottom.
DIALOGUE BOX: When trouble with a an inner-city gang puts the Lone Rider on the run, the lone rider must ride.
TITLE: THE RIDE BEGINS!
Panel 1: A shot of a dirty, trashy backyard of an alleyway in a major American city, you see one homeless man lost in the alley.
Panel 2: He looks towards the left of the page with a look of surprise on his face.
PAGE 2: This page is one splash panel, on the left side of the book.
Panel 1: Mad Max is sitting alone on a bed, this is a close-up shot of his face, he has grungy hair, he is smiling, his eyes are bright and wide open and his head is turned towards someone next to him.
MAX: Honey, I'll never leave you, darling.
AMANDA(OP): I know, I'll never leave you either...
PAGE 3: This page is one splash panel, on the right side of the book
Panel 1: Amanda is sitting alone on a bed, this is a close-up shot of her face, she is smiling and her head is turned towards someone next to her.
AMANDA: ...but you're still a liar.
PAGE 4: Page four has two large panels at the top and bottom of the page, with a thin horizontal panel in the middle.
Panel 1: Lots of explosions everywhere, we are on a city street, you see a mobsters car driving away from the scene in the lower left corner of the panel.
Panel 2: A criminal in the passenger seat of the car is looking out the rear window.
CRIMINAL1: I really think we got em' this time boss.
Panel 3: This is another splash panel on the bottom of the page. The drivers face, with a look of evil scheming.
CRIMINAL2: I know.
PAGE 5: This page focuses on criminal1's scared reaction to what happened. In the midst of all his confusion, criminal2 murders him.
Panel 1: Criminal2's car is in focus, it is entering a garage, you can see a license plate that reads "BRN2KILL"
Panel 2: Criminal2 turns to his left, he is about to get out of his car.
CRIMINAL2 (THOUGHT):What a deuche bag, this son of a bitch.
CRIMINAL1: I don't know about that one boss, I don't think we covered our tracks right. He might have noticed, right before we killed her.
Panel 3: Continuing the characters getting out of the car, still in the garage
CRIMINAL2: Shut up, son of a bitch.
Panel 4: Criminal2, with his gun pulled out pointing toward the reader, if there wasn't a bullet firing you could see down the chute. You can see his face, he looks like he doesn't care.
Panel 5: Criminal2 is turned, back to reader, he is entering the door, leaving the garage.
DIALOGUE BOX: That's what happens when you deal with these guys, secretly, the truth is, that anything goes.
PAGE 6: This page returns to the girl, Amanda, she is walking down a city street. She is entering a store and has a chat with one of her colleagues.
Panel 1: This one is of a splash scene with Amanda walking down a street and walking into the store.
Panel 2: A blonde woman behind the counter of a jewelry store, her name is Micky.
MICKY: Hey hun! What have you been up to lately?
AMANDA: Nothing, I just had a date with this really hot guy last night.
MICKY: Who was it?
Panel 3: The scene continues, two girls chatting at a jewelry store, set it up however you want it.
AMANDA: His name is Max, he's a car salesman, that's why they call him Mad Max.
Panel 4: A close up shot of Micky.
Micky: How did it go?
AMANDA: We spent the night.
PAGE 7: Back to the criminals.
Panel 1: Criminal2 has walked inside the room and lays a pile of cash on the table
CRIMINAL2: This is what I've found.
Panel 2: The debut of boss criminal. He spreads the stack across the table.
BOSS CRIMINAL: How much this time?
CRIMINAL2(OP): This is all I got, but it's around $42,000 this time.
BOSS CRIMINAL: Alright.
PAGE 8:Criminals continued.
Panel1: You see a new gang member walk in the room. He's holding a basketball and has a bandana on his head.
CRIMINAL3: How much you got?
BOSS CRIMINAL: Not very much.
Panel 2: A shot of the boss criminal
BOSS CRIMINAL: You know how much I'm paying you guys? I say I give you all 10% for the run and in return, this is what you get me. How am I supposed to tell the guys at the station that this was the run? Pitiful I tell you, fucking pitiful.
Panel 3: Criminal 2 responds.
CRIMINAL2: This is all we got, but I tell you what, we shot Jimmy, that takes a whole opposition force out of our way. You happy about that?
BOSS CRIMINAL: I'll be happy when you get the balls of the police chief on my plate; I ain't happy that we use all these resources in exchange for just about the cost of a cheap house in Tranquility bay.
PAGE 9:
Panel1: Mad Max is driving along.
Panel 2: The homeless guy from page 1 is shown looking through a bag of money.
HOMELESS GUY: Holy shit look at all this dough! I'm fucking rich!
Panel 3: Max is walking into a store.
MAX(THOUGHT): I'll get Amanda some roses for the next date.
PAGE 10: Six panels.
Panel 1: A shot of Mad Max turning around.
Panel 2: A shot of the homeless man guarding his money.
Panel 3: A car driving by.
Panel 4:Close up of gunshots coming out of the windows of the car.
Panel 5: Mad Max grabs the money and runs.
