Let's write a Batman story to add to the Batman mythos.

I see that Mr. General Grievous made a good attempt at this (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=279036) not long ago, but it had a fatal flaw from the get go: "No less than 10 words?!" I could barely get past the first post.

New rules: no more than 10 words/post . Your post must obviously be a continuation from the previous one, but it does not have to be a complete sentence or statement.

So here we go:

Once upon a time in Gotham City, the brave Batman...
