Back when I was a kid, I learned a lot from TV. Or at least tried to learn. Now, we all know that many of the complex things shown in children's TV is impossible (such as Wile E. Coyote's bits).

But what about the simple things? What are some seemingly simple things you saw on TV that you can't replicate?

One of the ones for me is flicking a bed sheet upward and it landing on the bed neat and in just the right position, only needing to be tucked in. It seems doable! Yet I cannot do it.

The "balancing a glass of water on a playing card" magic trick on Super-Friends. I could never get the cards to line up properly...

Commercials are huge for this... I rarely, if ever could get that perfect curl to any whipped cream or toothpaste that they always show in the commercials! Turns out you're not supposed to use that much toothpaste anyhow. :tongue:
