This is an amazing series so far, and the final book in the first arc looks epic indeed.

It's fantastic, probably the best series Vertigo is doing right now. The guy you quoted just hates the book because it's not written by Milligan.

No, I'm pretty sure it's a legitimate series, unless I've been brainwashed into thinking I've read and own every issue published so far.
Which, you know, I haven't been.
If you don't like it, you don't like it, but no need to troll threads created both by and for fans while at the same time butchering the English language and proper grammar.

I don't know what you guys are talking about. It is soooo fake. I've been reading the news, and there is no such person as Tom Taylor. And yet they want to pretend he's real in this usually non-fictional medium? Bah, bah I say! I'll go back to reading truthful comics like Blackest Night and Walking Dead.
Note whether there is sarcasm in the above or not.
Oh, and awesome series. The preview definitely looks like it's as good as it has been.

How dare you forget Bone and Y: The Last Man, the most truthful comics of all?

Great issue and pretty messed up for Tommy too. The cliffhanger LOL it was epic I thought. Next month is a one shot, and then back to Tommy's story. Yeah, I can't wait to see what happens next.
Have finished reading issue #1,don't know how am gonna feel about it yet.
I will check out issue 2 tomorrow.
Does anyone know how many series this book will go?

Very cool series. The map of where influential fiction was written is an awesome idea. Can't wait to see the surprises that are sure to come our way in future issues

That was an awesome ending. We don't have to wait around long for answers but now we have more questions!
Argh this is awesome!!!

Mingus appearing on the tree top at the end I did NOT see coming.
And Pullman really is a vicious, nasty SOB isn't he? Anyone else notice the red eyes he was sporting at one point? Just a little touch by the artist or a clue that he's more than he seems? (He's already got the matter dissolving hand, wouldn't be surprised if he had other little mystical tricks up his sleeve)

Good points FeminineMystique. I did not see the cliffhanger coming a mile away too. I was "DAMN Mingus?!? No WAY" haha
Yeah, Pullman is one mean sob and I'm sure he has a lot of tricks left to show us. We have to wait until October to see the aftermath tho. Next month is a one shot stand alone story...which I'm sure will be a lot of fun to read as well.

The beginning caught me off guard with the Tom Taylor Hostel version. Wasn't sure what to think until I saw what was happening. Very interesting book thus far, definitely want to see where it's going
