For those who haven't heard it yet, there will be a Fate/Stay Night movie coming out next year. Movie will follow Unlimited Blade Works route.

That mean we get to see Shiro and Archer fight?

Awesome.

And maybe get the actual revelation right? IIRC the anime never touched on the fact that

Archer is Shirou from the future
though it did drop a few hints

I hope they don't reuse the EXACT same stuff from the series and then just add some new scenes here and there.

The animation style looks quite different from the non-existent anime.

I liked it as much as I liked the Tsukihime anime that was never made.

Did you play the games? Because as a standalone thing, the anime works fine, I think. I guess it could look different if the games are much better, but really, who has ever played those at this side of the pond?

Yes, I read all three routes. UBW>HF>>>Fate

I thought the anime was a decent anime as a standalone. But in my case, give me Rin Tohsaka in full motion and I'm already happy.

I'm very excited about a movie since FSN is one of my favorite anime series.

However, I'd like to know whether it's all new animation or just re-edited scenes from the TV show.

I'm getting the feeling it's new animation, but I don't know for sure.
I'd kind of hoped we got Fate/Hollow Ataraxia rather than a different version FSN though.

[EDIT] THE ANN article did say it's an entirely new work so that answers my question. Hooray for movie quality Rin! I mean, hooray for everyone!
