The Once And Forever

Apperently (https://subs.timeinc.net/SI/si_madden09.jhtml?experience_id=240551&source_id=1&_requestid=302291&_requestid=302291), EA Sports is willing to drop several Madden games for free, it seems odd to me that they would do this, given that it is a lock every year and that it will fly off of shelves. So I ask, is this a good idea for EA Sports?
It's also an amazing deal, and quite frankly, it seems too good to be true. I'd like to know if some better eyes than mine might find a hidden fee where I have failed to.

Of course this is a good idea for EA Sports, they're still going to sell a ton of copies and when is it a bad idea to generate goodwill?
Obviously you can't get your game and then cancel and get a partial refund, but other than that it appears to be in order. Just don't forget to cancel your subscription after the first year or they'll charge you for another year.
I'll probably do this tomorrow.

Actually it's six months, SI is a weekly magazine remember.
Other than that yeah, if you don't forget to cancel they'll keep charging you.
