Alright so ever since I discovered Blu-Ray I've been getting all my movies in that format. No regrets as of now. My only problem so far has been that I can't create backups of the Blu-Rays as I could with my DVDs since I don't have a Blu-Ray player on my PC.

Anyways here's the situation. Since DC started coming out with their animated films, I've been purchasing them, in most cases pre-ordering them. The first two that I bought were Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: A New Frontier. These were both in DVD format. The rest I've bought have been Gotham Knights and Green Latern: First Flight. These are in Blu-Ray format.

To keep my purchases consistent would it be worth purchasing the first two DVD formats in Blu-Ray format?

On a somewhat related note, I've noticed that many of these Blu-Rays seem to go down in price pretty quickly. For example, I wanted to get the Wonder Woman DVD for some time now but just never got around to it. At the time (around Feb 09) I think it was like $20 on Amazon, but now I check the price and its $13. Of course that's to be expected, but how long does it usually take for these films to drop in price? I don't mind pre-ordering, to me they have been worth it for the most part (some more than others), but I did want to know in case in the future there's a film I'm not really highly anticipating.
