Not to play pile on poor James Robinson, but this is making me laugh almost as much as "retard juice":

It's Superman talking like an OG. It would probably go over better on SOHH or AHH.

It may not be for everyone, but the "t-shirt" panel gets me.

These are actually Funny! The "Retard Juice" Strip was just harsh, and mean.
Those are actually humourous.

Is that in reference to Hal's relative obscurity in the real world?

The original scene IS silly. In fact that the whole book was pretty bad. But these sorts of "parody" strips aren't much better. They're just one step up from fan-fiction.
This one is ALMOST funny, but it's also in really poor taste.

No, it isn't. That's funny stuff:biggrin: . Supes is calling the others racists. You don't get it?

Just read a preview of the actual issue.
Pretty bad dialogue. Hal Jordan: "Justice League, society, community. Cool. I'll get the coffee."
What I wish Superman would have said:
"Hal, stop trying to sound over dramatic. You, me and Ollie died. Now we're alive again. Don't you think there is a very high probability that Bruce and Jonn will be back?
Barry died and he's back from the dead. Ice from Maxwell Lord's JLI is back from the dead. Bruce's second sidekick is alive and well again. I think Arthur is alive. Remember we saw him for a brief moment when we were fighting Darkseid? Your fellow Lantern Kilowog came back.
Besides, what are you going to do that we haven't already tried? Are you going to kill Sinestro? Again? Because last time you did it, it only made things worse by helping this "Parallax" creature take hold of you.
Or maybe you'll alter their minds like Dr Light. And the people who disagree with that, you can just alter their minds too [looks at Ollie and Hawkman]."

"Wow. Nice one, Hal. By the way, the 90's called, and they want their 'faux-bad-ass' dialogue back."
"So that's your solution? Force Works? Hahahahaha! Yeah, good luck with that Hal."

They're everywhere. I found this through CBR's own: Comics Should be good which also included this:

Man, I'm as white bread as it can get and I found this hilarious.
Personally, I have loved Cry for Justice so far, but sometimes it's fun to just see people take something and throw a few alterations in there.
It's like reading some of the reviews for All-Star Batman and Robin.

How about this, since Supergirl is at Supes back (After the 2nd issue)
Supes:" I know who you are. You're the dumbass that tried to talk my little cousin into a three way with Vixen. Now you keep interruping me, I'm going to turn that little piece of jewerly you wear into a nose ring."
