View Full Version : Batman Brave & Bold Won't Stop Being Awesome: Adam West & Juliet Newmar!

So, on upcoming episode of Batman: The Brave & The Bold, Adam West will voice Thomas Wayne and Juliet Newmar will voice Martha Wayne and....wait for it...in the episode Thomas Wayne will wear a bat costume to a party and beat up mobsters.

Just when I think I couldn't love this show any more than I already do...

When will we see more Joker in BTBATB? i loved his first appearance and the classy british accent and phrases like "sonny Jim" its good they havent over relied on him but i would like to see more.

Does anyone else think this show isn't gods gift to man? People praise it.... but its corny and annoying. However, I've only seen that one Blue Beetle episode. But he was annoying enough to ruin the entire series for me.

What are the episodes I should watch?

Only bad thing about the show for me is Character Design. Im not usually particular about that but I just can't take the show seriously with the way they look.

It's Dick Sprang, based. He's one of the definitive Batman artists of the Gold and Silver Age.

That's just it. If you don't care for it being "corny" or "silly" or embracing Batman's Silver Age status then it's simply not for you. It's not right or wrong though I think you're missing out by needing Batman to relentlessly dark. I'd recommend avoiding the Bat-Mite episode, because it pretty much addresses the Bat-fans who don't like it...by being twice as ridiculous as normal and mocking them on top of it.

I still watch the show sometimes though. I just pay attention to whats being sad, instead of The people who are saying it.

I'm actually OK with embracing Silver Age Batman. That's not really what the issue is for me. I literally think it was just Blue Beetle. And I don't like the guy who does Batman's voice.

I actually kind of want to watch this Bat-Mite episode. The more over the top, the better. I should just watch them all to see if I can like it.

Sweet news! I like this show...my favorite episodes are The Fall of the Blue Beetle and the two Red Hood ones. Is Season #1 over?

i love this show. batman is so smug but not a jerk. it's fun all the stuff they put in for fans. you can tell a lot of care is put into the show even though it could have been total fluff. i like how they reference comic stuff without being slavish to any sort of continuity. also the episode where all the bad guys were good guys and vice versa made my head spin.

I really can't wait for this episode, given how much I loved Adam West's Batman and how ridiculously campy it was. Too bad Eartha Kitt's passed on, I'd have loved to have seen her in an episode of B&tB.
This is the most fun I've had with Batman since TAS; and I actually love Bader's Batman voice.
Can't wait for the new season to start, and as others have asked, does anyone have an exact date on when they're going to start showing new episodes?
