This is one of DCs best bks at the moment, the art of Nicola Scott is perfect for this bk, you must track down the back issues and get in to the SS before its too late,

I may be critical of Alex Ross's art, simply because it always looks static, and the characters never change expression.

but I'm not adverse to photorealistic art when it's done well, and has an amazing impact. I love this cover, because it is everything an Alex Ross cover isn't.

Respect your opinion, but so many of my friends who aren't into comics have seen Ross' work on Marvels and are blown away, they think that all bks should be done like this, and Im with them on that............

Fair enough, I just don't think he's all that.

and I'm THANKFUL that not all comics are done like Ross' work on Marvels or Kingdom Come.

I'd be bored to tears. I like lineart, COMIC art.

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of Ross as a person, or his work in comics (I do love his political work, however). And I completely disagree with his opinions on comic characters.

now, I'm not here to bag on Ross, I'm here to compliment the artist who painted this Secret Six cover. And the current issue's cover, featuring Wonder Woman, and the Banshee chick is pretty sweet too.

You are right, its good to have different artists on different titles,
I would mind seeing Dan LuVisi work on the inside of some of these bks, theres so many great cvr artists around these days that sometimes I get a little disappointed with the work inside when its not drawn by the artist on the cvr.
I suppose this is what happens with Digital artists, they are just there to sell the bk..........

Indeed, it does. Just found out that Suicide Squad creator John Ostrander is writing this issue, so it makes perfect sense that the logo snuck its way onto the cover. He also made Deadshot the badass that he is :D
