If this takes place after X-Force saves Hellion , then wouldn't Laura be kidnapped right now? Unless they save her and she's back in X-Force before all this Utopia stuff happens then that means theres a bit of a continuity error. Unless Utopia takes place before Not Forgotten... but then that means Messiah War took place after Utopia which isn't right either.

It's weird how Venom can give Colossus such a tough time, when Spidey has handled this version of Venom pretty well on his own on several occasions.

They're just confused by the time line. Utopia is the most recent event in the Marvel world. Anything that happens now pretty much spoils X-Force.Example: months ago Hellion was captured by the Leper Queen, then X-FOrce went to the future. Meanwhile Utopia came out and Hellion was leading his mutant posse. So people were like how can he be doing shit in Utopia while's he captured in X-Force.

I always thought so . . . As recent as a few months ago, Songbird hurt him quite a bit when she was running from the Thunderbolts right before the whole 'Dark Reign' stuff happened, but even then Gargan didn't seem as affected by it as we've seen Venom in the past.

I remember 90s comics where a focused sound wave would pretty much ruin Venom. Same goes for fire.

Well...it's only a five page preview. I'm assuming this is an epic fight that takes up more than half the book with just people beating the crap out of each other.

But most of the Dark X-men/Avenger are present so I think it's safe to say that the others are lurking about in fights with others.

Although the art is better than Uncanny right now, am I the only one that thinks this is a serious step down from Deodato's current work? Some perspectives/proportions/etc are SO off.

A lot of sequences look really nice, however, things that bother me? Frenzy's back arch and booty. Cyclops pointing ahead with out of proportion shoulder joints, X-23's elongated torso while fighting Daken...

Yeah that's my take on the character....and to be frank it's something I like. It's high time the MU had someone this immoral. Or who at least did not try and justify their nefarious actions. Daken's motto is ' I want what I want, and do what I want'.

He does have an adamantium-laced spine, for what that's worth. And he almost killed Gambit in a humiliating beatdown (in fairness, after Gambit had already worn himself down against other opponents). So, y'know, his speed and fighting abilities aren't too shabby.

Any man who can hold his own with Daredevil is not to be taken lightly.

bullseye still has his bones laced and apparently his skull too and he's never been a push over. as insane as he is, he'll be more stable than archangel which will allow him to be smarter and more strategic allowing him to stay alive.

I wasn’t as excited after looking at this preview like most of you guys. I think Fraction is under playing the X-Men to make the DA/DX without the heavy hitter look like treats. Maybe after I see were Ares, Sentry, Mimic, and Namor are maybe I will see the X-Men tremble in their spandex.

Kara is the only one I can see giving them a hard time out of whom I saw. Venom should not be that much trouble for Colossus especially after Magma and Match flamed him up.

i just cant get into the character personally. it seems like she was kinda wedged in to make people like her. Most of the great stuff she has done seems to be a direct result of something she either learned from Illyana (teleporting) or got as a result of something Illyana did (soul dagger) i dont recall her doing anything really amazing before her magik upgrades...

Even made some artwork that i might have posted here back then.

Uncanny X-Men is not crossing over with Necrosha though. But yeah I mean the next arc is called X-Nation. So there's going to be a mass exodus and we end up with something similar to current Asgard.

Also Fraction said that every mutant still powered and on Earth will make an appearance in some shape or form so Exodus tagging along with Magneto might still a possibility.

Uncanny doesnt need to crossover if Scott sends Xforce to keep it a secret from his new mutant nation. Fraction can still destroy the Xmens legacy without crossing over, just a slight nod to the event at some point. Xforce then can go about killing millions of mutant zombies and noone will notice. As for New Mutants crossing over.... stupid Xkids always find a way to get in trouble.:biggrin:
