Mutant kids with no families? Would he be a good fit, or would he be alil to smart and wear out his welcome?

Amadeus Cho?
The super brain?
I doubt he would want to hang with the Runaways.
And if he were to do so....I doubt they would wanna hang with him.
Super brains tend to alienate or be alienated, sadly.
The team might feel inferior.
And Cho might wanna poke at Victor's circuits.

I'd say keep him with Herc, no reason to split up a perfectly good team. (Permanently)

No, I don't think any character not created for the series should have any kind of permenent role in "Runaways".

On a temporary basis it could prove amusing, I could see a similar scenario to the time Deadpool joined the GLI, just for one issue some time during the next few months where he's going solo.

Cho is traditionally portrayed as witty, funny and self-aware, so I don't really see him fitting in with the Runaways.

He, and Gert would destroy eachother.

I wouldn't want him to ditch Hercules, but I admit it would be interesting. Since the Runaways deal with unpredictable magic and aliens and stuff like that, he wouldn't necessarily have to be the most knowledgeable about everything.
The last smart member they had worked well. Until he, you know, tried to help destroy the world.

Well, it's a little late as far as ditching Herc goes, but it's presumably a temporary thing since they're not giving him his own series and instead still featuring him in Incredible Herc, plus how could he stay mad at this face?

He really would fit in with the Runaways.
He'd annoy the hell out of all of them. He fits in with the whole all adults are evil and rebelling against authority thing that the Runaways have got going.

i'm not sure that they deserve him. i mean, heck, why not just give Cho to the Great Lakes Avengers?

That's another one issue story that would be amusing. Ten bucks says Cho digs furries. (We know he digs scalies after all) I could see him hitting on Squirrel Girl with hilarious results.

How do you think Xavin would react when Cho says "An then there was the day my boy Herc laid the smack down on the Skrull Good Sl'gurt." lol
