Exiles has been canceled after issue 6! This is terrible news, but we can fight back! Start writing Joey Q. and tell him we don’t want Exiles to go away!

Come on guys, it worked for Spider-girl, it worked for Manhunter, it can work for Exiles! Jeff Parker’s take on the book was great and I for one don’t want to see it disappear!

SAVE BLINK, SAVE EXILES!

I would love this book to survive. Parker really captured the original spirit of the Exiles, but I highly doubt this book can be saved. I posted a question for Joe Q about why the book was axed so early and if there is a chance that the stories could possibly continue as back ups in $3.99 books. I think that may be a better chance of getting regular Exiles action.

I'm not usually someone who wants to other people's favorite books to be ruined - but Exiles seems like a dying title. It's been given two over-hauls to try and fix it, and the group has become less and less recognizable. (I really have no idea who any of those characters are, besides Blink)

I might be time for the book to finally just die. (sorry)

I'm going to email Marvel comics. And I think everyone else who is interested in seeing Exiles not disappear do the same!

Sure, I'll support it. It seems to be a waste to cancel Exiles, a title with such potential, after only six issues, while crap like Loeb's Hulk gets the rubber-stamp treatment. Parker's run hasn't been the best, but then again, it's barely started, and should be given a chance to continue. It may be a lost cause, but then again, I'm a Harry/Cho supporter, a Firefly flan and loved Captain Britain and MI:13 as well as New X-Men, so lost causes are all I know.

Thanks Phoenix!! I don't think this is a lost cause!

That's the spirit!

Hey, maybe we could submit a link to the "Create an Exiles world" thread on CBR to Marvel, just to show them that the concept has legs.

Can't hurt!

Where was it announced that the title is canceled?

Something that many of you may not know, I am a good family friend with Joe Quesada. Both our families go way back, we practically grew up together.

The other day I called up Joey and said, "Hey, you and I have been friends for a very long time, right? Well, there is this title that Marvel publishes that just annoys the hell out of me. Could you do me a favor and cancel that annoying Exiles title for me?"

My old friend Joe seems to think about it a while, then said, "You know, we were just publishing that title to fill a whole in the schedule. No problem. It's done. Don't sweat it."

Thanks Joey.

exiles has been dead since CC took over it and it never got its steam back. i think its better to let it die for awhile until someone else can revive it with good stories.

Yeah, no sense in publishing something that barely has a pulse.

To be honest, I think the Exiles concept would work better as a recurring mini-series every few years to focus on some alternate timeline, almost as a replacement for what if?

Do it with some A-List talent and it will be golden.

Come on guys! Don't have a defeatist attitude like that. Yes Exiles was pretty bad when claremont took over, but this is a whole new book with a whole new team and writer who wants to try new things withthe concept.

If Spider-girl and Manhunter can be saved, so can Exiles!!

Man that does suck. I was hoping this thread was just an over reaction based on Exiles not being in the October solicits.

I have to agree with what Parker said though, they should have waited a while before releasing this. There was too much of a bad taste left in fans mouth after Claremont's run. People weren't about to leap into a new run so soon. Too bad because I would like to have seen where Parker was planning on going with the Blink pretending to be new and Morph as the Time Broker thing... I hope he gets to wrap things up in the double sized finale.

Apparently there was some sort of Savage Land story planned for after #6 that drawn by Casey Jones. I bet it would be an awesome read.
