ron Man, Wolverine Marvel Anime Teasers Streamed

omic writer Warren Ellis has posted links to the teaser trailers for the Marvel Anime series of the Wolverine and Iron Man. Ellis emphasizes that both teasers, which premiered at Comic-Con International (CCI) last Friday, are test animation "intended to show off the style of the piece only. Nothing in here reflects the actual content, just the design and the aesthetic and the animation." He also says that both anime series are aimed at Southeast Asian market, as opposed to Japan as Marvel told its audience at CCI.

The animation looks fantastic, its just a matter on how the story is handled in the two movies.

I'll give the Wolverine anime a chance but I gotta say I really hate his design.

The Iron Man artwork and story might be really good but the Wolverine story might have to be really good to make up for the mullet and unusual claws.
I cant wait to see how they adapt the X-Men mythology though.

I'll give the Wolverine anime a chance but I gotta say I really hate his design.That was pretty much my take on it too.

Iron Man looked epic. The bad guy mech was awesome too. How does that work though? He just outright transformed into a mech. It's awesome, but a bit unusual.

Wolverine looked all around lame. Wasn't impressed all all. His look sucked. I was desprately hoping that was Wolverine when he was younger in a flashback or something, but turns out that's him. That was disappointing. I hope they don't do a lot of slow motion cuts either. Those got annoying real fast. I';m hoping the X-men will turn out better. I was impressed by the Silver Samurais look though. He looked badass. Especially with that scythe. A shame he was taken down in one hit. -_-

I liked their take of Wolverine in the Hulk vs movies. Probably because it was actually Wolverine.

Well, this was rather a demo reel, so hopefully they'll change Wolverine to something recognizable. Right now he looks like an extra from Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust.
