As I've said in the "Who is the Red Hulk" thread, I was extremely disappointed in Incredible Hulk #600. I've decided to give the book a chance under Greg Pak, who takes over in issue #601, but I'm finding myself even more ticked off at the urging to read the new upcoming event: World War Hulks. (Note the plural use of Hulk)
It really kind of pisses me off that Marvel, after so disappointing me, wants me to spend money on a new event. I'm really this close to dropping Incredible Hulk, Pak writing or not. My only hope is that I can read Incredible Hulk without having to pick up this new World War Hulks.
So, what is everyone's else's feelings on this new event? I'm not trying to work up another discussion of Red Hulk -- but this event in general. Are Hulk fans, burned by issue #600, going to try it?
For me - Pak better wow me on his book. Loeb is just dragging the entire franchise down a sink hole for me.
