I don't want to see him straight up fighting Batman with it(that'd be boring), but I think there could be some cool stories with a juiced up Scarecrow scaring the mess outta people with that ring.

we already talked about this a while back on the DC boards. basically it came down to the fact that Scarecrow just uses the gas and doesn't really scare anyone. therefore he would not even be worthy to join a corps.

there's a thread here (on the DC forum) somewhere, just Search it.

Also a Sinestro ring tried finding Scarecrow but the GL's intercepted it.

That ring looks weird.

That ring looks weird.

Looks like a pacifier.

Also, I've never liked when the artwork shows the Arkham inmates in their costumes while they are in their cells. It's just dumb.

But yeah, Crane is usually underrated as a master of fear. He has shown he can be terrifying even without the gas. It'd be cool to see him upgraded with a yellow ring for a while.

Next to the Joker, he deserve a ring.

Come On, Geoff Johns don't fail me now.

I mean it would make a great one-shot or a few issues to crossover between the Batman and Green Lantern series.

Actually it came down to some people (who dont really understand the scarecrow character) thinking this and other people disagreeing with them.

That was one of my favorite scenes. Not today, Scarecrow!

Oh please no.

Batman works best as a street level vigilante fighting mad science, pulpy foes.

The less cosmic stuff the better.

Of course I don't even think Batman should be in the JLA...

There we a whole story I read recently where Scarecrow decided he wasn't going to use gas anymore and take his place as the true 'Master of Fear' without it so people would take him as a serious threat. If I recall correctly, in a DAY he had the whole city so terrorised they wouldn't leave their homes, and the day afterwards he had them afraid to be at home as well!

I'd say he's a damn sight scarier than Sinestro. He'd deserve a ring if one came to him, and I think it'd be cool to see for awhile - Just yeah, not fighting Batman.

What does it matter if he uses gas or not? Is there a clause in the Sinestro Corps somewhere that says the ability to cause fear has to be done with the use of innate abilities only?

I see no harm in giving Scarecrow a power-up with the ring and putting him in the Sinestro Corps for a bit. Let the GLC and friends deal with him for a while. Batman has enough of his own rogues to play with that the Batbooks could manage without him.

The Scarecrow or the Joker definitely should.
