The Sinister 666 or a resolution to the Mephisto mess?

The Sinister 666 or a resolution to the Mephisto mess?
That's quite some time away, isn't it?

It would have happened in 2015 when Spidey was monthly but now we get it in the beginning of 2011 so yay thrice monthly!

And whatever "Sinister 666" is, it has nothing to do with Mephisto.
Joe Kelly already confirmed this in a Newsarama interview awhile back.
I'd wager it's going to wind up being a resolution to all these Kraven happenings that are about to start in Amazing and probably throughout The Gauntlet.

I wager that they treat it like a normal issue. 777 on the other hand, I can imagine "You just hit the Jackpot" galore.

I was more talking about Sinister 666 next year which is more than likely going to be an arc but actually they'll probably do something freaky for Amazing 666 like Batman and Action Comics did, sometimes getting to do weird stuff like that is too fun to pass up.
Carnage returning in that issue actually wouldn't be a bad idea.
He is basically the anti-christ of 90s super villains.
Though since we already know he's coming back, I would hope it's a lil sooner than that.

I have a feeling it'll tie-in with the upcoming magical event.

CARNAGE IS COMING BACK? how do we know this? have i missed something i thought the sentry killed him!
Also on topic of the thread i remember someone sugesting that maybe spidey will have to fight a host of his dead foes... seems pretty good for me (i also think it had something to do with Quentin beck).

Spider-Man fighting against 111 versions of each member of the Sinister Six from alternative realities ?
What?
Spider-Man could be bored as hell and just ask Doc Strange to do a magic to go visit 111 alternative realities to defeat the Sinister Six of those dimensions.

For some reason I was thinking Carnage with this.

I'd rather it be neither. It would be a gimmick, which requires delaying payoff for two years. And it restrains the Web Heads, while encouraging either padding or more spinoff projects.

Carnage returns and turns New York into a living hell! That already happened to some degree in Mighty Avengers.

Yay. One of the most overused lines in comic history gets its very own issue.
