I'm sure you have all heard about "The Wanted", or probably not juding by the ratings. Its a Documentary series following a reporter pretending he is a spy tracking down terrorists..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVbbC7SUwgQ

And let me just say
Its fucking crap

In the first episode they "find" and stake out "Mulla Krekar", he is a Terrorist (no question) that lives in Oslo (Norway not Minnesota). but here is the thing. Everyone knows that, and he is monitored 24/7 until the Iraqi government agrees to the extradition terms set by the Norwegian government. he is by no means a free man. Yet this show ignores fact and tried to EXTREEEEM it up.

He won't be extradited until l the Iraqi government agrees to give him a fair trial and not torture or execute him.

also Krekar is an attention whore so they could have just called him up and asked fore the interview instead of staking out his apartment.

PS: the title of this article is 100% correct

It's not like the show could fulfill that premise, anyway. If the resources of several federal governments and intelligence agencies are incapable of tracking down terrorists, how is a reporter supposed to hunt them down unless through sheer, dumb, coincidental luck?

It would work if Chris Hansen was on the case

By the way.. the Show has created a bit of a controversy here now..

why?

Illegal surveillance. If any of the shows producers or something ever comes back to Norway.. they might end up getting.... a fine
