The only way I'd give it even a glance is if somehow Alucard from Hellsing pops in and wipes the floor with these pansy twinklepires.

Really, there's plenty of manga / manhwa / comics out there that do both romance and vampires a gigabajillion times better than this tripe.
Twilight is little more than romantic emotional pornography with paper thin characters and plot. It sounds like it was written by a 14 year old girl, not something written by an adult for a 14 year old audience. This low brow tripe is likely barely a step above all the mary sue fanfics out there. There are plenty of manga that have better vampires or romance. Hell, this book sounds as bad as some of those really bad shonen harem romance that really pander to male audiences.

My opinion on this, "BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!" I'm pretty sure that's going to sell. My younger sister might pick this up.

......I have little input other than anything is better than that horrible movie adaptation(though that's not saying much of anything). Who knows, maybe abridged Yami will appear.:biggrin:

I do find it interesting the gender that hates and loves this the most is female. Guys tend to hate this because Twilight craps on vampire lore or they were forced to endure this when they went on a date.

Still, as bad this is for some, look at the bright side, manhwa version of Edward getting hacked to death by Hellsing or any manga character is now possible through fan art.

I've stumbled into some other version with different covers. The ones from Japan, China, and Korea seem to have manga style artwork.

Say what you will, but at least HP has a better rounded-out cast, despite all of Potter's wangsting in the latter books.

Plus, it's got actual plots.

We already have a manga adaptation of HP. It's called "Naruto."

All he said was that it was originally supposed to be about wizards. For all we know, it was a screenplay for the anime adaptation of The Sword in the Stone!

no one wants a harry potter comic. at least, not one thats not super-compressed. i dont want to read 20 issues of harry moaning about his scar and crushing over cho and using the bathroom at school and sneaking to hogsmeade.

Are you proposing that Naruto is Ron Wesley, Sakura is Hermione Granger and Sasuke is Draco Malfoy? Somehow that makes a lot of sense. Following that line of logic, what does that make Shikamaru and Hinata?

Creator input? I heard rumors that Bella is suppose to look like Mrs. Meyer.

HP manga? That does remind me of a Christian comic book with manga style artwork bashing HP for it's "satanic" overtones.

I'm thinking those were fan works or perhaps art covers for the Japanese versions of the orignal novels.

Anyway, as for this Harry Potter Naruto thing,
Snape kills the Hokage.
Ochimaru kills Dumbledore.

I remember going to the MIT anime club back in the day and someone there read off a long list of comparisons. Then he also did a few on Buffy and Sailor moon.

Didn't the Konoha invasion occur before the Half-Blood Prince got published, though? (Plus, they're not really analogous characters.)

IIRC, Kishimoto said he was originally going to make the story about wizards but when HP came along he got worried people would compare the two and changed it into ninja. That's not really the same thing as Naruto being the direct equivalent of Harry Potter.
