It appears that J-Bolt has taken the strategy of denial on handling Macquarrie's urging over his posters.


Part of me thinks that J-Bolt Is trying to delay talking and giving the posters to MacQuarrie til he gets enough cash togethor to have Carr or someone draw them. It costs money I'm sure to do those type of posters and he doesn't have It. Thats why he keeps saying he hasn't gotten the E-Mails.

But he knows exactly where Mac lives at now. Thats why he's taken off again. He could hand Mac a 20 dollar bill or something to make up for them. But In doing that he pretty much validates everything people have posted about him and his work. Its non-existant and he'd have people saying he paid a guy for stuff he never would even deliver after a year!

Poor Mac's caught waiting as J-Bolt scrambles. Good luck MacQuarrie getting those posters. But I doubt you'll ever see them. Maybe one day he'll prove me wrong.

I was speculating that whoever made it may have seen the posts indicating that everything is working, and decided to break something, just for the sake of maintaining the illusion of imperfection. That's what I would do if I were to make such a site.

You just confirmed what I've been telling these people for quit some time now: THEY DO NOTHING BUT BASH ME, MY COMPANIES AND MY PROJECTS!
Even their fellow CBR Forum members recognized that they were going after me.
But we have to pity them. I and my company are doing something that they'll never do in their lives...unless they work for someone else...at the ground floor up.
I believe it's called jealousy and I can't wait to shove this film, the comics and everything else down their throats. Because it is not fantasy in my head, nor empty hype nor anything else they've called it. IT'S REAL AND IT'S HAPPENING!

That's a flat out lie, about the fan sites. When I interviewed J-bolt, he made the claim first that he had fan clubs as far away as Japan. When I asked him to prove it, he changed it to one fourteen year old girl, and he suddenly couldn't recall if she'd ever finished the website or not.

Not unless they have a darn good editor.

There ARE people in this industry who can't spell, and don't know how to use a colon. That's fine. But your grammar is beyond atrocious, and you can't lay that off on typos. I'm begging you to stop using the word 'whom,' until you learn when to use it properly, for once. It's fingernails on a chalkboard to anyone with any education in this language whatsoever. It is inexcusable that you don't work on this. Your posts are as bad now, or worse, than when you first started, and there is no justification for continuing to display this kind of linguistic torture.

The sites are full of it, the scripts are full of it, and every post just reinforces it. It would take a team of editors a week with a hardhat and a compass to find the grammatical accuracy of your long post this evening, and most people don't have that kind of time.

I want you to succeed, I've tried to help several times. But please, please, please, quit pretending you have a grasp on basic writing tools! It's just silly! Get a good editor, there are plenty out there, many work very cheaply...pay them to fix the embarrassing and unintentionally hilarious typos on your site and scripts. Again, there's no shame in this. Get a good editor, there are plenty out there, many work very cheaply...pay them to fix the embarrassing and unintentionally hilarious typos on your site and scripts. Again, there's no shame in this. It's what editors are for. But if you don't realize you have a severe problem in the most basic writing skills, then you're always going to be mocked instead of listened to.

If someone brought you a drawing of a guy with three arms, you might ask him to work on his anatomy. I'm begging you, please, PLEASE get an editor!

I think he turned on everyone once everyone started callin him on the bullshit. MacQuarrie wanted the posters and J-Bolt really had no Intentions of doing It at all.

Imagine a Judge who hears this case If It even makes It to a Court of Law. MacQuarrie has the E-Mails he has sent and the IMDB Message board where he tries to get the deal done.

I don't know what to think of J-Bolt.

The "pretty vile" comment conjures up possibilities.

If it's at ALL possible that what some of us may be thinking is WORSE than the truth, Gail, you'd be doing him a backhanded favor by sharing the info.

Because I think his persona of CEO/artist/creator/producer is one insane quest to get laid and that his whole goal (right down to playing the boyfriend role) is a mad attempt on the part of a delusional scumbag to get into some B-list actress' pants and possibly impress other women along the way. Everything else is just a show to perpetuate one lonely weirdo's sick fantasy.

The full-fledged "delusion" angle doesn't add up for me. What does add up are the skimpy outfits for the women (which he vows to reproduce faithfully in the film), his insistance on the boyfriend role and the sleezy porno vibe I get off ye old Mulleteer.

It doesn't make sense to me that a guy could be so deluded about comics and yet so supposedly interested in them. What does make marginal sense is that some white trash loser out in Nevada wants to do the horizontal tango with "hot chicks" and so he's using what little he's got in a machiavellian effort to score with porn stars, all the while stringing along, defrauding and dragging through the mud a bunch of nice (or unknowing) guys like Bostwick, West, that video game composer guy and anyone unfortunate enough to send money his way. (It's not like Mac was the only person he defrauded.)

I feel cynical for even suggesting it but it's been my gut feeling about the guy for years.

I can't give up on J-Bolt. I was just offering unsolicited advice and probably unnecessary support to Gail. It certainly seemed like she was leaning against posting any information about him. I just wanted to say that I thought that was a good idea.

And MacQuarrie's decision to back away slowly seems like a good idea.

I still want those of us that remain bit players in this soap to poke the Bolt.

For instance, I have a friend that tossed a football behind the coach in "The Program". He said he was an extra. I am dying to know how J-Bolt defines his role in Rat Race as a cameo. I would like J-Bolt to explain what exactly the difference is, since he is an industry professional.

I wish J-Bolt would post over here though. I find the IMDB boards a little difficult to navigate.

Maybe its just me....but this seems like such a bittersweet ending to it all.

I guess I just never let myself believe that it would end, that J-bolt would always be there with something delusional to brighten my day. Anything to make me feel alive.

Oh God, why did this have to happen? WHY?!

You don't know what his rantings mean to me. They give me life, they give me hope. I still remember when I was first introduced to J-bolt.....

And those were really tough times in between. I had to do things I'm not proud of. Things I had to do to survive. But J-bolt made me laugh he again. Don't you see? He set me free!

And now I see the same shadows creeping into my life, as his light withdraws into the swirling mania of his personal dementia. WHY?? WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME J-BOLT??
