Have you ever tried the ink resist technique (http://www.wetcanvas.com/Articles2/17097/662), by the way? Sounds like it'd be right up your alley.

Aw man, something else to try! I don't think I've ever seen that technique before, but it looks pretty interesting. It's like a woodcut without having to deal with wood and knives. I want to give that a try before the summer's over...
