Just Picked Up GL:Rebirth, what now?

Finally broke down and decided to jump on the Green Lantern bandwagon.

Picked up Rebirth and was excellent. Very well done. Now im a Marvel guy and it annoys me that DC dosent put on the back of the trades what issues are in the trade.

So which trades do i get now? Im trying my best to catch up so i can get into Darkest Night this summer.

Good list. I'd also recommend reading GL: Corps as it's a good series, in some ways a bit more of a fav of mine than GL itslef, but there are a few crossovers and its a good read on its own. Pick up Recharge and then ask your LCS to give you the reading order in trades. Definetely worth picking up.

Rebirth out of the way ... I'd say the bare essentials are as follows:

Green Lantern Corps: Recharged
Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War Volume 1
Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War Volume 2
Green Lantern: Secret Origin
Green Lantern Corps: Sins of the Star Sapphire
Green Lantern: Rage of the Red Lanterns (Lucky enough, it includes The Alpha-Lanterns)
Green Lantern Corps: Emerald Eclipse
Green Lantern: Agent Orange

Ultimately, though ... I'd recommend picking up all three series - Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Ion: Guardian of the Universe. It's all great.

This info is included in all DC trades, on the page towards the beginning of the book with the copyright and other info. Look for a sentence that begins "Orignally published in single magazine form as..."

If you are short on cash right now, at least get these 3 that retro recc'd

Then just pick up GL, GLC, and BL for blackest night as they come out.

"Emerald Twilight/New Dawn" is a good trade that explains Parallax and the origin of Kyle. Before those, the Showcase presents Green Lantern silver-age collections are pretty nifty (though be forewarned: those old Silver Age DC comics are completely ridiculous).
