What I"m asking is that I was reminded of Roy Harper's Fallout with Green Arrow and it makes me question are they the only two Hero/sidekick in the DCU that has that much of a bad fallout and never a reconcile moment ?
Because I knew that Bruce and Dick had a strained relationship, but at least they did try to reconcile during Prodigal son.
Either way are Ollie and Roy the only hero/sidekick who had a trouble relationship/bad fallout but no reconcile or is there anyone else you like to name ?

That doesn't count because they're just begining to form some type of relationship between them. :frown:

Bruce and Jason.
Roy and Ollie did eventually patch up their relationship as Ollie was more than willing to baby sit for Roy and Roy eventually took up the name "Red Arrow" to show his respect for his mentor (unles something else happened to damage their relationship more recently that I'm unaware of).
Bruce's last message to Jason was "You're my biggest failure".

Well, Golden Eagle was never really his sidekick per se, but he nevertheless did try to kill Hawkman--who was retonned to have originally taken him in under his wing--and made unwanted advances towards Kendra during Palmiotti and Gray's run on the title. Hawkman ultimately beat the snot out of him and sent him on a ship back to Thanagar. The two later joined forces during Rann-Thanagar War, but it was a the-enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend type of deal more than an actual reconciliation.

I'm gonna go with Hal Jordan and Sinestro, altho they were more partners than anyone being anyone else's sidekick.

I like them and their relatinships. I just wish the orginal teen titans took over for the mentors. The red arrow is the new green arrow and donna troy took over for wonder woman like how Wally and Dick did

IIRC Aquaman and Garth had a somewhat strained relationship at one point. Same with Blue Devil and Kid Devil in more recent times.

they have reconciled like 5 times just since Ollie returned from the dead..
and Roy even forgave Ollie when Ollie was dead..
I kinda wish the writers would just get over it already
The whole thing recently in JLA when Roy became Red Arrow seems totaly .. weird to me.. because they have been close in recent years.. but then suddenly out of nowhere.. distance!

Mark Waid was a DC hero before his sidekick Dan Didio started throwing his toys...

Bruce wayne and dick grayson had imo the only genuinly interesting relationship in the DCU maybe is because dick is the only sidekick buddy who has remotely stepped out of his mentors shadow.

Umm not too familiar with Aquaman but didn't he try to kill Aqualad in order to save his son? Have they reconciled since then?
