This just in from the history channel. Secret Six: A group of six Chicago businessmen determined to take down Al Capone. See Irony.

Until recently I thought it just came from the Secret Seven book series.

When I first heard the books title I originally thought of the Capone "Secret Six"

Even though they have nothing to do with Gail's Secret six, though they might be a republicans, so maybe they do have something in common.

I suppose the name could've been inspired by the Capone guys. Although it's an obvious bit of alliterative wordplay, in the same vein as "Fantastic Four", "Fatal Five", "Terrible Trio", et. al.

Y'all know about DC's original Secret Six series (http://comics.org/covers.lasso?SeriesID=1855), right?
