Interesting. But they couldn't have waited 'til SDCC to make this announcement?
Scott Ian is a pretty decent song writer, but I don't know about this. Being a fan of comics doesn't mean you can actually write them.

Hey Scott how about getting a new singer that sounds like he belongs in Anthrax and not Pantera?

It is only two issues from the dc source. And don't let Dan here you say that about his Metal Men title.

I agree.
Former 90's Anthrax frontman John Bush is my favorite all time metal vocalist, but the new Anthrax frontman Dan Nelson is just average at best.

I really like Scott Ian both as a musician and also he seems like a cool guy. Still he's never written a comic before to my knowledge but if it's not written well at least it will have Sam Keith art.

Hopefully, Lobo will be done right this time...I'm so sick of him getting stuck in lame ass stories...

Bush was incredible, and Nelson... well, I can sing those songs better than him and there's no way I should be singing for Anthrax.

Sweet! Thanks for the link!
Sam Keith is perfect for Lobo. Almost as good as Simon Bisley.
As far as Scott Ian as a writer goes, I doubt he'll screw it up. He's a fanboy at heart. Quite frankly I trust him to write comics better than some of these TV goofballs DC's been hiring lately...

I thought all he did was VH1 specials these days.

Dude...Gail Simone's kind of one of the best writers working at DC right now.

If the reviews are good I might try the trade paperback.
I am very weary of unproven writing talent these days being drafted into DC by editorial.
I.E--Andrew Kreisberg from Tv screen writing is now writing Green arrow/Black canary and I found it to be terrible so I dropped it months ago.
