All these discussions about Steve Rogers' return, made me ponder about comic book deaths....which led me to spidey's origin story (Amazing Fantasy #15).
When I first read the story I was about 6 years old. While I realized the moral of the story and how much impact it had on Peter Parker, years later I see that story as one of the greatest inspirational stories I've ever heard of. Even though it was primarily aimed to kids and similar stories were told many times before it remains a powerful tale to me, now moreso that I'm able to translate it to relatable experiences.
But my post isn't just about AF#15; I was hoping to hear some experiences from you guys with stories that still feel powerful (or even moreso) to you now that you've become an adult.
