I read the issue and it was pretty funny. The art was also laughable and now I remember how horrible an inker Norm Rapmund was on those Image Comics like Brigade. The Titans relaxing by the pool was hilariously bad. Although the art was awful, the ending was good enough to keep me interested in next issue.

Jurgens not do the art this issue?

Who was the fill in?

I thought this story was pretty good. I liked how everyone thought he was a STAR Labs secruity guard.

Also, I actully love the Blue Beetle backup that I wasn't too keen on to start off with.

I thought this was issue #23. I guess it's late...

Anyway, I enjoyed the issue, even if, like other have said, the art wasn't great.

I have been loving Booster Gold lately it feels very classic.
I wish there was more Dc books like this instead of all the pseudo grim and gritty everywhere.

Anyone know who the guy in the shadows might be?

I like the Blue Beetle back up but i wish the art was a little bit more consistent with the faces.

Cool issue and okay art.

The black beetle is growing on me, As is the blue beetle backup. Never liked the chacter that much before as I read the first few trades and wasn;t blown away.

Not bad at all.

I really like the preview here. Is the Booster Gold series worth reading? Does it deal with time travel to fix events in the past? If so, I always loved time travel stories and maybe I should give this book a try

Time travel galore.

They can change some events but NOT all.

This causes booster some very emotional scenes and moments.

Well worth reading.

I like how booster inspired the sinestro corps(sorta).http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_5VgL6ZXwkaw/Ruq4ViipeoI/AAAAAAAAEG4/jW_DBdgHH7U/s320/Booster+Gold+2-4.jpg

And Skeets riding a horse back in jonah hex's timeline?! Awesome.

WAIT TILL YOU FIND OUT WHO RIP HUNTER'S DAD IS. Best twist in years.

Oh and Rear ending barry allen was supercool.

I like the fact that Booster can play with things outside of continuity. Resolving them in order to maintain the status quo in the DCU as we know it leaves so many possible stories to write and tell from his angle. Almost like an elseworlds without the heaviness and weight of the usual stories. You have a guy trying to do the right thing timewise and save all these other people he knows, but they can never know he was the one responsible for it happening. It reminds me very much of sliders or quantum leap, even if a bit more campy. No matter what happens Booster has to be portrayed as this kind of bumbling fool out for his own gain, in order to protect the time stream from the hroic things he actually does to maintain it.

DC had better not cancel this title. They're too many stories and plots to play with chronologically to do so, and it could be a great showcase comparable to Marvel's "What IF..." comics for the DCU, even if from a one sided observation. Writers can have a field day with this title in many avenues, author to author in a rotating fashion. IF they kill the book then they are screwing themselves as a company for the possibilities it presents and numerous creative teams it could feature.

Blue Beetle is always a plus. But for right now it feels like one story getting cut short by another story that is too short itself, even from month to month.

I think I might not read the blue beetle back up's until X-mas:biggrin:

imagine how much material would be built up by then.

Sounds like an idea.

Not a bad one, but when title space is coopted by another, you may as well enjoy them both, especially with the upnotch in pricing. I love both characters, but the co-feature feels a little rushed and compacted with the space it is given, especially for a title that was great before cancellation. I hope enough interest is still there in a year or so to warrant a relaunch for it.

The only problem with this story is trying to recall how close this is to the original story because i'm too lazy to find it.
Anyways it seems Deathstroke and his son seem a bit over-powered in this issue since they have wiped the floor with the Teen Titans with only a little help from Black Beetle.
And what did he mean by killing the master tactician of the Justice League?
The only people in this group that are real Leaguers are Wally/Kid Flash and Speedy and none of them struck me as "master tacticians"

Robin has never been an official Leaguer.

Maybe he is setting up speculation that Dick as batman will join james robinson's new JLA?

I don;t know,. could be wrong.

Bah, I wish the Titans could graduate to--the Titans. Their book is on what issue and they have yet to even save the city.

Nightwing was the leader of the League during Obsidian Age (when the original League was defeated in the past.)

We're calling Kelly's JLA run a What if story now?

Incidentally, the meaning of the scene was clear; Dick Grayson's death lead to Batman lnot being a member of the Justice League (as well as a bunch of other changes that were shown; for example Sinestro joining the JLA in Hal's place.)
