Every time I see a GeNext preview, I check to see if there's a resolution to the "Becka Munroe's Bathroom Blackout" storyline. And every time I am disappointed.

Worse yet, it's mentioned in that Beast and Cecilia Reyes got freaky prior to Genoshan Excalibur, in India, after meeting the Bollywood version of Thor.


... I am forlorn.

It might be a midget. Genetic difference, curiosity, and all.

But, he tried to kidnap Generation X when they were in their teens...

And at some point, it was revealed that Dark Beast, in the Age of Apocalypse, found Earth-295's Power Pack... he grafted them together into one amalgamated creature.

So having him work with kiddies is old hat. Grotesque, nonetheless, though.

Becka Munroe's Bathroom Blackout was pure genius. It makes the mystery of the Da Vinci code look positively banal by comparison (that's not really saying much is it?)

I can't even remember what issue that was in. It may have been a telepathic scan, or some kind of flashback during "Endangered Species".

Found the issues in question, the Dark Beast doing bad things to Power-Pack-295 was in both Exiles #61, and X-Factor (vol. 3) #22 during part 7 of the "X-Men: Endangered Species" back-up story.

I think I've got the X-Factor issue. I'll see if I can get a scan up sometime Friday morning or over the weekend.

...Not that I'm looking for a reason not to like Claremont, but there's not a single story of his over the years that I can say I like. And GenNext is no exception.
