I believe and certainly HOPE so

Looks good. Not familiar with the writer for the Doc tale, but looking forward to it.

Don't think so. I know Namor's story is in it, written by Paul Cornell. He's writing the C&D story too, so I assume that'll be in another issue. I know nothing, really, but I like writing worthless comments.

it would be nice if this went on longer than i expect it to go, but hopefully we'll get a beautiful ride into self destruction, super ego's, and insanity before it ends.

a mutant version of thunderbolts with the same cloud over them as the t-bolts have, would be a cool mini or even ongoing, even without some of the characters you know won't last long in a team...looking at you namor.

I pray everything goes well for Cloak and Dagger.

Upon hearing their involvement with the Dark X-Men, I was excited. Though yesterday's Utopia continuation was incredibly depressing ...

Yup - one page a bit screwed up, but the rest of it's there okay.

Nope, just those in the preview, sorry...

Yeah I think that one is my favorite one so far. Having the scene when he is coming out of the grave and cuting back to the bar is really impacting. THis can proof to be a very interesting team. Seriously I hope they get their own book, even though Dark Regin will eventually end.

I could see the dark x-men starting in a relunch of the X-treme X-men, as a government sponsered team even if Norman isn't the head. They can be the new X.S.E. working for Valerie Cooper or someone. With the X-Treme banner they could easily drop the Drak once Norman is out.

Even Havok and Ploaris can lead the team once they comeback from space. After all Havok was leader of X-Factor when it was a government team and I can see him taking a different stance from Scott's on the whole mutant/human relations.

X-Treme X-Men:

Havok
Polaris
Rachel Grey
Mimic
Daken
Omega Weapon
Clock & Dagger
Dark Beast
Mystique

definately. can't wait for his next encounter with Magneto (strangely missing from this mega-event). of course, i doubt that Magneto would know about Beast's connection to Sinister or his experiments on mutant children.

i wonder who's idea it was to give him a haircut, shave, and dye-job. and why is the Exiles version blonde anyways? that always confused me.

I didn't even think about how Magneto was missing from this huge event, and he always pipes in with his usual schtick... I don't get why he's been completely M.I.A. since the beginning of Legacy. Super not like him, but I can see how if he was in this storyline it might be the same as having too many cooks in the kitchen.

Anyway! The Mimic story looks like I'm going to need a drink after reading it, the panel of him coming from the ground with all of the dirt and crap in his mouth... amazing, yet horribly depressing.

Didn't someone at Marvel say that Magneto would be in Dark Reign.

I could totally see him attacking the Dark X-men for what he sees as mutants selling out their own kind.

Maybe Marvel thought more people would recognise Mimic with the Exiles look?

OR

To keep with the Dark Reign theme where "villains" dress up as heroes?

However I've always thought Mimic as a grey area kind of character.

Mimic from Exiles was blonde and had blue eyes because he was from an alternate reality. I mean the team also had a black Heather Hudson.

Alternate realities. Anything is possible.

This would work. I actually would like to see Alex return a team that is similar to the lineup Claremont would have formed if not for the gold and blue proposal of the 90s. Mind you, I prefered the blue and gold.

But Claremont, I think so anyway, had something like Storm, Forge, Alex, Giant-Sized Lorna, Rogue, Psylocke, Gambit, Wolverine and Jubilee.....so I would like to see this lineup now.

Yeah but I ment since the Dark X-Men are a new refreshing team and have a lot of potential, they should have their own book. X-Treme X-Men would be the perfect title for them because at the end of the run its team became a world police of sorts in mutant affiars. So the dark x-men would become the government sanctioned x-team that would work for HAMMER/SHIELD or who ever is in charge. Also they are a far more x-treme version of the x-men and Havok who was a x-team leader under the government would be perfect to lead this team when he comes back from space.

Keep in mind Claremont wouldn't have to be the writer it can be some one like Cornell.

this looks like it could be pretty gud.

i was skeptical about this whole "dark avengers/dark x-men" thing but after re-reading original sin, Daken has pulled me into it more.

plus cloak and dagger are back <raise the roof> not on the terms id like to seem em but they're back none the less.

anyone read dark wolverine yet?

daken is a shit- kinda tht guy u love to hate n can't wait to see wht he does next.

Nude Namor... In my X-Men

Looks cool anyway. Hope C&D get some spotlight.

Hm... I do like the idea of another team... Especially with C&D or with Mystique, but I'm not sure about a return of the X-Treme title. One because it's a stupid title, two because Claremont is so horrible on a core title now... But sure, it could be cool. Legacy looks to be coming back to that anyway, but possibly going back to the younger mutants.

I don't mind adding evidence to the 'Cyke was right' dossier, but... really? Havok hanging out with Daken & Mystique? Big brother issues can only go so far, right?.

Hey, I´m Ibraim, and I hope I can draw a monthly book soon. I already did the X-MEN Origins: GAMBIT with David Yardin, and the ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE: RECORDED ATTACKS to Avatar Press.
I loved to do this story with the Dark Beast. When I got the script I remembered of the 90ths when the beast was drawn by Jim Lee and we had a lot of great shots of the Beast (I´m saying that because I´m a huge fan of Jim Lee, especially on the X-Men).
My best guys, I´ll keep checking this thread.
