Trance and Indra get namechecked!! (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=2975&disp=table)
That was quite an advanced bit of teleporting by Pixie there, onto a moving plane flying at Mach 2. She really is better than Nightcrawler

Not sure about the health and safety aspects of leaving an empty plane flying with no crew though.

Looks like it's still over the Pacific. Warren Worthington III and Graymalkin Industries are just gonna have to eat the cost of an X-Jet that crashes into the ocean, I suppose.
Ah, Scott, raping Warren's wallet. It's like X-Factor days all over again.
Also, Nightcrawler touching and 'porting Betsy? Is the "Burtsy" potential back on?

Those students are from the same pool though. The only person I specifically remember her talking to is Bling, but I'm sure she taught one of the flight classes and generally knows the students by face (nu-Kitty w/ pink hair and the gnat wings) if not by name.

Rogue was taken prisoner, tortured, infected with disease, rescued the X-Men and thousands of citizens from the Hecatomb by absorbing billions of minds, went crazy, was shot by her mother, put in a coma, sucked dry, and trapped in a Danger Room scenario.
She is very unsupportive.

You mean how he saved Cable, tipped him off to the birth of Hope, prevented the diaries from falling into Sinister's hands, rescued the baby from Bishop, called the X-men to Muir Island, conspired to off Sinister, helped revive Rogue, and returned the child to Xavier? It wasn't very well-presented, but he ended up doing more than most of the X-men.

Does Cyclops know all that stuff? He is obviously aware of the Hecatomb stuff, but other than that he along with the others busted his ass to try to save Rogue, at the same timing fighting Remy several times and hearing that Remy had killed his (Cyclops') son, for them then to both dissapear. I think he has reason to be a bit snappy.

I have tried to like Cyclops so much, but he acts like such a douche sometimes. He doesn't even make an attempt to care about Rogue and what she went through; she didn't even know the X-men were in a fight. Also, she just awoke from a coma, what good would she have even been?
And, with Gambit, the bad apparently outweighs the good, of course.
In my opinion, all three of these characters' stock is pretty damn-well higher than his for the time being.

Cyclops is a jerk; nice welcome to San Francisco for Rogue and Gambit after he invited ‘all mutants’ to come.
I'm still trying to figure out when he or any of the X-Men besides Gambit tried to save her twice.
They tried - once - in a really poorly conceived plan that failed miserably wherein they got distracted by messiah baby which was more important to Cyclops and after that Rogue was completely forgotten and left to her fate to basically die if it had not been for Remy and Mystique.
I love how revisionist history seems to apply to Cyclops every time he makes a leadership snafu - yet he'll call everyone else out these days on their mistakes and not seem to care about other mutants but the ones he's focused on (Hope) while at the same time one of the whole points of why he's supposedly so bada$$ these days is there are very few mutants and he's "protecting" them.

I think part of Scott's problem is he's hanging on to his leadership by a thread.Beast is mad at him,Wolverine is mad at him,Warren has become Archangel again, the actives of X-Force could be exposed,Emma's sided with Osborn.I think, in part, Scott's attitude towards Rogue is that he trying to show he is "Large and in charge".Rogue has been out of the loop and now makes a very convenient "whipping boy"(girl).Rogue needs to stand up for her self and justify what she did.

Scott doesn't know Emma's done that yet and I didn't think he knows all that much about Archangel. Sure Beast and Wolverine have had issues but that seems small potatoes at the moment. Not to say they won't all be issues later but I think it is too soon to say that now.
I think, in part, Scott's attitude towards Rogue is that he trying to show he is "Large and in charge".Rogue has been out of the loop and now makes a very convenient "whipping boy"(girl).Rogue needs to stand up for her self and justify what she did.
And rightly by Rogue in the middle of a battle is not the time. I do agree that likely some of Cyke's "issues" are he's feeling the weight of making these decissions but of course that comes back to the fact he decided that he'd do that and not ask for help or inform people so I have little sympathy.

I am so excited for this issue! It looks so good! I like the art pretty much, Rogue is pretty and the beloved hood is back. I just wish he drew the sleeves tighter like it used to be.
Is Rogue that sure in her control not to wear gloves? Oh well, it's not like any of the X-men noticed. Their teammate just appeared after missing for months and all they did was either ignore her, or yell at her. Ooooohhhh, I HATE Cyclops. I'm sorry but he is an ass. Of course, it's a little weird on Rogue's part to leave the X-men without saying a word but I bet Emma knew she was fine, more or less. By the way, is Emma or any other X-men supposed to know what happened in Sinister's lab? I'd think so. And Gambit saved the X-men. I think only Cannonball understands it. And maybe Cable. I hated it when Wolverine stabbed Remy. And he did tell them where the baby was, as far as I remember. And true, the X-men tried to save Rogue, but they left and didn't try again. She could be dead by then. I hope Rogue will keep Cyclops' ass. Or Remy does. I was a little surprised he didn't wjhen Scott started yelling at Rogue.
Also, how does Rogue know which X-man is where in San Fran? Is she telepathically connected to Cuckoos?
Rogue does know Pixie and other students. She was around in that New X-men issue, when Dust and Icarus' (?) mom were crying, Rogue was there to comfort them. And then she was at the funeral, too.
Funny how the kid calls Danger a transformer. Made me smile. By the way, Cyclops reaction to Gambit and especially Danger was pretty cool. He just started at Rogue. He's just jealous that Anna is hotter and that Cable preferred to be under Rogue's leadership. Loser.
Awww, Rogue and Remy are so good together, I'm loving it.

1) I'm with Cyclops. He has a right to be wary. Rogue shows up after all the shit that went down with Gambit (who teamed up with Sinister) and Danger (who tried to kill everyone). Yeeeah... I would be like "You have got to be fucking kiddin'."
2) That said I love the concept of Danger being an X-Man (Woman? Machine?). It seems like a one-up on Omega Sentinel, but they both have different enough histories though the power set will have definite overlap.

Rogue didn't want Mystique in the mansion. She begged Cyclops to not let her in when he LED the vote that allowed her to join them. Sabretooth was more of a prisioner, really. Chained and with nano-sentinels. Rogue was basically taking him away from the kids.

I guess Carey is writing the Colossus v. Venom fight? Should be interesting
I like how Kurt and Betsy had alittle cameo appearance.
Rogue will get her say later on but Cyclops came off like a prick. I still like him though.
Art is fine for me. And I'm more excited about this point of view then Fractions actual crossover. I think thats bad lol

It is a nice preview for what I’m sure will be a superior chapter in this storyline.
Cyclops should really step down as leader because all his plans are ending badly. I know none of the X-Leaders had a perfect track record but I hate how he treats his teammates once they’re not active members.
The art is a little better as well. The Venom/Colossus fight was a lot better looking. What strength class is Venom? I know he can’t be in Peter’s class.

Trance and Indra get namechecked!! (http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=2975&disp=table)
I knew Trance was going to be in the issue, but when I saw her and Indra's names I got super excited!
Also, how does Rogue know which X-man is where in San Fran? Is she telepathically connected to Cuckoos?
Well the cuckoos (2 of the 3) were on the rooftop so they probably told Rogue.
Did anyone else notice the Cuckoos' new costumes?? I love them! (unless they aren't new and I haven't been paying attention) haha
LOL. I think it's cute that the two MOST SCARED students ever, Trance and Indra, are the ones lost in the chaos.
Hahaha I can picture it now, Trance hiding in a dark corner in the fetal position....unless that one-shot boosted her confidence.
But Indra HAS to be "powerd-up" which is awesome cause I love how BA he looks!!
I'm ok with Cyclops as well. I mean, not really. But he's under a lot of stress, there are people and students down there being hurt. He doesn't have time to throw Rogue a parade, neither she would want that.

Rogue didn't even know Messiah Complex happened. The X-men didn't try all that hard to help her; the baby was far more important than her. Why did she have to tell them where she was going? They have telepaths; they can find her.
How the hell could Rogue have known what is going on with the X-men right now? They aren't her number one concern. She was off fixing the plague that has been haunting her her entire life. Please forgive her for not dropping everything to help the people who left her with the captors the minute they found out they didn't have the baby.
I'm not going to comment on the Danger and Gambit issues because I'm not as familiar with Danger, and Gambit was far more helpful than he was hurtful, but the X-men couldn't have known that.

I browsed though utopia and recently bought Messiah Complex. I always like Cyclops. But reading the X-Men again, despite the negative impression people have in this board of him (well I assume the ones who like him aren't as vocal about it), he is seriously more BA than I remember him being in a long time. Not since did he single handedly take on the Mastermind tricked X-Men in the Danger Room many years ago have I felt he truly is THE X-Man. I seriously think he can takeout Wolverine if marvbel allowed anything like that to happen.

I like the preview. I can understand Cyclops thoughts. He doesn't trust Danger and for the past he has with her I cant blame him and he doesn't know anythng about what Gambit did in helping the X-men during MC.
Rogue vouching for them reminds me of that last time when she took Creed, Lady M and Mystique on her team. But once this is over and Scott gives Rogue her new role what ever problems they have should be worked out.

I must say I would love it for once if someone called Cyclops out on his recent "choices" for mutant kind.

Rogue's gonna reach out and touch someone. With Ares and the sentry around, the chances of her getting really strong really fast are quite high. Seeing her go insane or become the void would be quite entertaining. Meanwhile, Danger could run interference, probably knocking Venom cold with a high frequency sonic pulse.
But what I'd really like to see is Exodus deciding to take a break from his walkabout. As much as he respects Xavier, I doubt he'd take kindly to a lowly human putting the prof in mortal danger. And Magnus was repowered....with so many humans infected with a TO virus, he'd notice that his first trip back into SF.
Scott's leadership skills notwithstanding, he's playing the field like a chess match, with his queen in enemy territory. She won't stay there long if she wants to keep her "I'm good now" image. Osbourne likes the quick decisive victories while Scott will take the hits and let the enemy play the power card first, then surprise them with his heavies at the end.

I find Scott's attitude odd, considering this was a man who abandoned his wife WITHOUT warning to shack up with his ex squeeze whom he discovers is not dead...
Well Danger did try to kill the X-men numerous times and Gambit willingly became a horseman of Apocalypse and seemingly betrayed the x-men to Sinister and placed Hope's life in danger to save Rogue. I can understand why he'd be a little upset that Rogue is hanging out with them all of a sudden.

the X-Men dont know Gambit joined Apocolips willingly besides they never even tried to find him after BOA so fuck them , during MC Gambit saved and tiped of Cable about Hope, he Saved Cannonball from getting his brains splatered all over the place and destroyed the Destinays Diarys preventing Sinister from getting them ,he told Wolverine that Cable had Hope, then he saved Hope from Bishop and told the X-Men where the maurders were, he was the one who handed Hope to Xavier thus saving the child, and again the x-men didnt bother to go after him, so Summers should know his place and shut his pie hole , i mean the X-Men never looked for Rogue either both times Cyclops mentions looking for Rogue in the preview the X-Men were looking for Hope , and you think the writer Mike Carey would remember that he wrote both issues

The Danger thing, sure. But most of the things Gambit was actually doing during MC should be clear to the X-Men if they paid attention and talked about things afterwards. Cable should know Gambit saved his life and tipped him off. (But he probably never told Cyclops) There were X-Men present when Gambit destroyed the diaries (Cannonball should really have gotten it after that look they shared right before). They know he's the one to tell them who the baby had. They know he's the one who woud up with the baby, saving her from Bishop and they know he gave the baby to the X-Men (via Xavier).
And I REALLY hope Rogue knows the X-Men abandoned her to Sinister the second they learned the baby wasn't there. It kinda takes the wind out of Cyclops' complaints.
That said, I don't hate Cyclops. This kinda friction is what makes stuff interesting! This is already a more exciting issue just because he didn't go: "Rogue! How've you been!"
She has the keys to all the rooms in his mindscape. He not only thinks she's a loyal soldier but he wants her badly as well. She better not tell him she has her powers under control now. Emma might plan an "accident".
I was SO thinking that! Rogue featured very prominently in Scott's little Sex Fantasy Hotel! I can see it now "
Scott: 'So you're powers are under control now? Interesting......"
Rogue: "Yeah, took me years but I finally-"
Scott: "Yes yes, great. Say, I just thought of a way you could get back in my good graces...and maybe I'll let you rejoin the X-Men....Maybe. Why don't you drop by my office later and we'll......discuss it. Hmm, yes...."
Rogue: "Uhm, okay. Sure."
Scott: "There you go! That's exactly the attitude I want to see later on. And uh, could you wear that Savage Land outfit?"
Rogue: "Uh...say what?"
Scott: "There's a good girl."
Well, that could be an interesting issue. As long as we get a different artist. This one is awful. The faces are a mess. Looks like fanart.

Well Scott doesn't know about the stuff Gambit did. Cable never got a chance to tell Scott what happened, and neither did Xavior on account of the fact he got a bullet in the head. At the very least, in Cyclops eyes, Gambit was out to save Rogue, regardless of the cost and he potentially put Hope in harms way.
As for abandoning Rogue, The X-men were out numbered by the Marauders and the Acolytes. Wolverine and Nightcrawler got hurt pretty bad, it was more of a tactical retreat then abanonment

True to some extent but still, the X-Men keep all these elaborate files on everything and everyone and they should've figured out some of the stuff he did.
As for abandoning Rogue, The X-men were out numbered by the Marauders and the Acolytes. Wolverine and Nightcrawler got hurt pretty bad, it was more of a tactical retreat then abanonment
Also true but I can't shake the notion that if the baby had been there, they would've pressed on no matter what and when it was just Rogue on the line, they instantly bolted.
LOL. In all honesty, I love this. I loved when Rogue told Scott off, I love how rude he is to her now and I can't wait for her to be a bitch to him again. Hopefully, it will be soon.
That's whatIm, sayin! I love it when Scott's the stiff authority figure and Logan or Rogue or gambit are all in his face! That makes for the good stuff. Everyone should stay as they are!
At the point Xavier was shot most of the baddies were injured, dead or in full retreat. The X-Men were as diligent in looking for Rogue as they were for Cecelia of Maggot.
Well they never claimed to be looking for Cecilia or Maggot. They did claim to be there for "Rogue and the baby" and yet instantly left when they learned the baby wasn't there. Rogue of course still was...
