Bowen Designs is working on a Full-Sized Sandman statue & Randy Bowen started a poll asking which version people prefer. I'll create the same poll here as Randy created on our site. I will share the link with him, so he can see the results.

If you can, I'd also appreciate if you'd vote in Randy's poll on our site as well.

I love the bottom caption on the Sandman/Hydroman team-up.

Seeing the cover to one of the worst Spider-Man comics ever made (part one of the Mud-Thing two-parter) me throw up in my mouth a little.
But to answer your question: Classic costume all the way.

That armored costume just looks plain wrong.

Jebuz Chiminey, That armored Sandman is hideous. I'd take classic Sandman everyday of the week.

Why's the sandman need armor? Now a giant body-condom would make sense...

The classic costume is awesome and timeless. The armoured look is...well, lame, and looks very outdated today.

He looks like a weird New God... How's he even get a new costume?

I think the Wizard made it for him when he was in the Frightful Four.

I really liked both. I understand the inherant silliness of the armored costume, but somehow it just works for me.

The armored costume is slightly better than the classical costume.
And having Sandman with a Armor which turns to Sand as well, makes sense in my book.
And make Sandman a better vilain.

Both were ok to me, though the armored one is a head scratcher. Its like they tried to beef him up with...armor? Maybe the armor has +8 versus vacuum cleaners or something.

No offense to who ever started the debate but how is this even a debate?

the originl and thats all there is to it, i mean, the guy was transformed into sand with his cloths, so he should be stuck with it forever, and the one from the 70-80s sucks BAAAAAAAAAAAD

To be fair about the armor, he was facing the Hulk. Of course, he's made of sand, so how is the armor supposed to help? I'm confused.

it'll help hulk punch a good deal of his mass across the county. Wait that doesn't help!

I will only buy a statue of Sandman in his armored costume if it is a statue depicting this scene and this scene only:
