Was Scarlet Witch ever an X-Man? Evil Mutant, yes, but X-Men? And I'm not sure about Fantomex either (though frankly, I know next to nothing about the character, so he could have been a member of an X-book for all I know).

I can't speak for anyone else, but I included Scarlet Witch for two reasons:

1) She has more to do with the X-Men universe than the Avengers, since it's where she got her start and where most of her family connections lie (excepting Wiccan and Speed).

2) I think it would be UTTERLY AWESOME if she joined the X-Men when this whole "YOU KILLED THE MUTANTS" mess blew over (under current circumstances, less so).

Oh I respect your opinion but highly disagree with this statement. I think when the vast majority of people think of Wanda, the first thing to come up is Avenger, not X-men. She's had little to do with the line over the decades. M Day aside, if it wasnt for that, she'd be a small dot on the X history radar, whereas like 95% of her stories are within the Avengers universe. Her influence has definetly been felt in the last few years due to M Day but I think she's still firmly stamped as an Avengers character. Quicksilver had the same origin and beginnings as she did and I think he's maintained his X-roots throughout the years. That hasnt been the case as much with her

I definetly would love to see her more involved in the X-universe. Its something Ive wanted for ages. Not sure how it would work now especially after how heinous the results of her actions has been on the mutant race. What happens in AvX will be crucial in terms of redeeming her

Fair point re: decades on the Avengers. I was thinking strictly in terms of blood family, since I don't know who she's got as friends on the Avengers (who don't want to f*ck her).

I don't have 25 favourites, I doubt I could even name 25. Some of these probably aren't in the X-Men any more (X-23) but at various points have been, so yeah.

Then again, even if you stated a smaller number, posters would inevitably add their "back up" favorites increasing their list by an additional 6 or 7.
