the point of the initiative was to take young powered kids and wayward powered adults and a few petty powered criminals and train them to be responsible with their powers, how to be heroes and possibly be part of the 52 state initiative after training.

most of the adult x-men shouldn't be in it. not that i'm telling you what to do, but it would be in more of the spirit of the idea if it didn't include the x-men, at least not the responsible ones. the x-brats, the nyx kids, the x-men enemies except the worst and ancient...looking at you mags, morlocks, and the others spread out in the MU

Canada isn't marketable. nothing turns me off of a book quicker than superheroes in Canada. all they've got are the Great Beasts; who are about as exciting as the Elements of Doom. why can't Alpha Flight just accept that it's the Big Hero 6 of the North? there's no shame in that. create an Alpha Flight team and use them as guest-stars.
