After Dark Reign...? Daken related.

After this whole Dark Reign mess is over with, I was wondering what's going to happen to Dark Wolverine? Would anyone care to read about him in his own book?

Me, I love me some Daken, and I wouldn't mind reading about him and his own adventures to tell the truth. And I mean, more than just going up against daddy dearest, I'd like to see someone come up with some original adversaries for him to go up against, as well as some of Wolvie's standard villains (like Omega Red and Lady Deathstrike for example).

Since Daken has whole hearted accepted the costume will he attract some of Wolverine's sparring partners? Now that his "protection" from Romulus has ended and his alliance to Osborn he should be fear game to everybody from HYDRA to ths Hand. Wildchild seems like a natural rival.

Daken is some sexy business, and I like how his character is being developed (for the most part) so I'd totally read a title featuring him and whatever capacity. I don't know if he necessarily needs his own book just yet, and I'm going to be a little sad to see the Dark Avengers team eventually split up or get killed or what have you, but I don't think Marvel is stupid enough to let him just fade into Trivial Pursuit card status obscurity.

I would love Daken to be rivals with Wild Child. That seems like a very natural enemy for him, he could be Daken's "Sabretooth". Death Reaper should have something to do with Daken's life, too. Daken's "supporting cast" etc should be all these dirty crust punk, pierced, trashy looking scumbags. That seems like it would fit, and it is a far more modern take on Wolverine.

Back when he was with Romulus, Daken was one of my favorite characters. He had this focus on things, and would never let himself get carried away by minor things, except trying to go after Wolverine. But since the Legacy crossover, he just started deteriorating.

When Miss Sinister told him she was responsible for the fire that killed everyone and burned him badly, he did nothing about it, just asked for an explanation. The old Daken would have never done that, even without his memories. Then their romance started, then his weird agenda to become Romulus.

He doesn't have that integrity or character anymore, and even if he doesn't admit it, he's still a worse lackey than he was during the Romulus days. But I'd still read anything with him in it, just because there was a point where I liked him.

This was the moment that marked his downfall, I think.

I think we only saw him because he "lost sight of the ultimate goal". I imagine he was very focused on whatever jobs Romulus gave hime, but trying to kill his father seems to have been a pretty high priority.

I would've liked to have known what Daken was supposed have been doing when he was busy stalking his dear old dad.

I was not a fan of Daken's and almost cancelled the Wolverine title when it became Dark Wolverine, but in just 2 issues I think he is fantastic and one of my favorite characters! I love his phermone thingie, that is so cool...I will definitely read a Daken book after Dark Reign and I really, really hope Marvel will continue to produce one.

I want to see a romantic comedy book where Daken and Bullseye realize they cant live without each other so when they need to lay low and hide after Norman's schemes take a dive they shack up together in a little house on Fire Island. Daken can seduce the neighbors every other issue and Bullseye can kill them out of jealousy as they struggle adjusting to day to day living...

...and every issue Mr Roper can come to the door, demand the rent money, and try to figure out if they're just roommates or something more...
