This is weird.

Really weird - especially after the mess with Natasha Richardson. You would think anyone who had suffered a hard blow to the head would have been sent straight to the nearest emergency room rather than allowed to go home.

Rest Well, Mr. Mays. I'm sure you're due some quiet time.

Man this is getting so freaky, McMahon, Fawcett, Jackson and now Mays, June is sure ending on a sad note for American Pop culture.

As a side note, Oxi Clean works very well on carpet stains.

The death train started with David Carradine. June has been murder on celebrities.

Carradine, forgot about him, wow 5 all together.

Yesterday, Billy Mays was on a plane that ALMOST crashed, but instead simply landed hard and blew out all the tires. He died today. This is like Final Destination. The rest of the would-be victims of the would-be crash should have a defibrillator and a newborn baby nearby, just in case. Spread the word.

This is getting very weird. Also, I didn't think he was 50.

Get a hard blow on the head, go to the ER! Take the time to just make sure....

Yeah, this has happened a few times in the last months (Natasha Richardson). I hate to think of all the repeated mind-numbing blows to the head I've had with no check up.

What an inappropriate comment....KDoG7, you never cease to amaze me.

Shame to see him pass. I know when I'd go to sleep with Court TV airing , I'd wake up before the programs would start and there would be Mays. Selling some Oxi-Clean. RIP mr. Mays.

I hate to be insensitive, but two years too late, IMO. No single voice has ever grated on my nerves, ever, like his did...

My sympathies to his family. Maybe we can be treated now to clips of people flipping the #$@! out when told of his death.

Again, indifferent.

Not my line but I think this will work here:

"You've heard that Farah Fawcett and Michael Jackson have died... BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!"

Wow, June 2009 is turning out to be rather crappy overall.

I wonder if Billy Mays the 3rd will try and take over as he had been starting to produce some of the info-mercials.

Yeah I watched that show too. Apparently Discovery plans (assuming it doesn't change) a marathon of the show on July 1st as a lead up to the season (now series) finale. Seemed like a decent guy.

With all these recent high profile deaths, I'm starting to feel paranoid that I could die at any second myself.

Too bad about Billy. I admit, I always found him to be kind of hot.

My first thought when hearing about the news of his death was Jabo0ody Dubs' (http://www.youtube.com/user/jabo0odydubs?blend=1&ob=4)YouTube channel, which parodies all of his commercials.

It is a shame, isn't it? Seemed like a decent enough guy, just your basic spokesman for some product or another. He had a job to do and he did it well ... you never heard about him getting into any kind of scandal or anything, or saying anything really dumb off-camera. It's too bad it couldn't have been Paris Hilton.

I'm assuming the informercial channels are going to play Billy Mays ads for the next three days.

I actually saw an infomercial yesterday afternoon on CBS or NBC affiliate for some electric saw that he was pitching. This after I had already found out he died. It was a little weird.

I've developed this theory that well liked celebrities must make some sort of pact with the allmighty and the reaper. They must all sit down together and look at the planners and decide a good timing for a mass exit.

I can just see it now, Farah Fawcette, Michael Jackson, Billy Mays, David Carradine and Ed McMahon all sitting around a table accompanied by Death and God, they finish looking over their schedules and God declares "All right, so everyone agrees that June is good for them? Great; see Death before you leave today and he'll set up your personal departure and arrival times from earth to here-after!"

R.I.P. Billy, your infomercials were annoying as hell but you were still one of the friendliest guys I'd ever seen, you've earned a rest sir.
