View Full Version : Musical Chairs....Of Doom

The leader of the Church of Scientology strode into the room with a boom box and an announcement: Time for a game of musical chairs.
David Miscavige had kept more than 30 members of his church's executive staff cooped up for weeks in a small office building outside Los Angeles, not letting them leave except to grab a shower. They slept on the floor, their food carted in.
Their assignment was to develop strategic plans for the church. But the leader trashed their every idea and berated them as incompetents and enemies, of him and the church.
Prove your devotion, Miscavige told them, by winning at musical chairs. Everyone else — losers, all of you — will be banished to Scientology outposts around the world. If families are split up, too bad.
Awesome expose of David Miscavige abusive behavior from his blown "lieutenants" (http://www.tampabay.com/news/article1012148.ece)
The Scientology Gang tries to counteract with ad warfare. (http://www.breitbart.tv/know-yourself-scientology-launches-three-slick-new-video-ads/) Yet, what it really shows is that it doesn't know what it really is.

In the words of Cannibal!: The musical: This fucker's gone completely nuts:biggrin:
Christ, if everyones favourite borderline insane midget Tom Cruise dancing around and assaulting Oprah while lying about his sexuality didn't prove that Scientology is basically a loose affiliation of nutters with belifs even more ludcrous than mainstream religion, this certainly does.

And how do you know that Tom Cruise is lying about his sexuality?

We ALL know:biggrin:
He'd be much happier if he just came out and admitted it. And if he left Scientology too, given that it's been proven a 100% absence of Scientology in your life leads to a 9000% increase in your mental and physical well being:biggrin:

I'm just a little surprised that, on board as "gay friendly" as this, constant unfounded innuendos about someone's sexual orientation seems to be accepted.

There's no need to be so serious darling. I don't care if Tom Cruise is gay or not. It was just a joke. It's not like I'm saying "OH Tom Cruise is a dirty homo" or simmilar homophobic garbage. (Given that I'm Bi it would be fairly hypocritical of me:biggrin: )

It's just that it's not the first time I've seen that sort of thing, around here. I remember an older Scientology thread, where someone posted a link to a video of actress Jenna Elfman yelling @ some guy on the street, who was wearing a shirt that said "Scientology is GAY, REALLY GAY" with pics of Tom Cruise & John Travolta on it. And the reactor here just seemed to be "Ha ha, look @ that wacky Scientologist! They suck!" And I was wondering why no one else thought that shirt was offensive, just based on the fact that he was clearly using "gay" as an insult?

I think hatred and ridicule of Scientology overrides all other thoughts and impulses in most people. If the word Scientology was missing from the shirt people would be offended. When it's present? Red flag to a bull.
Funny side note regarding Scientology: it all began during a conversation Hubbard had with a fellow author (Though with L Ron Hubbard I use the word "Author" in the loosest possible sense). The topic of discussion? How to make a million dollars and keep it all.

Back on-topic: Listen to the audio interview with COS Spokesman Tommy Davis (son of actress Anne Archer), where he responds to the allegations.

Click on part 5, where he starts shouting and cursing, then tell me he doesn't sound utterly batshit insane. And THIS is the man this "religion" chooses to speak for them?

To call them a religion would be like calling Stephen Hawking "One hell of a Tri-Athlete".
But consider this: if he's their spokesman imagine how insane the rest of them must be?

Y'know re-reading the bit at the start of this thread, it sounds a lot like the last days of Adolf Hitler as seen in the movie Downfall. Only, y'know, with more musical chairs. And the Nazi's beliefs were slightly less insane than those of Scientology ;)

At least he warns people he's a psycho ahead of time. If only all followers of Scientology were so honest:biggrin:

Not a Scilon. THE Scilon.
For years people got bullied for pretty much putting this info out to the public. We're not talking gibbs slapping either. We're talking the head of a "religious organization" beating the shit out of it's members to the point where they have a hard time picking themselves up and some minor medical attention.
And for former top people exposing this is the same effect as a bullet at blank range.
