Who's Your Favorite Force Field Wielding Mutant?


1. Armor- Hisako Ickhiki, teenaged mutant whose force field grants her protection as well as enhanced durability and strength. Powered by her ancestor, her psionic forcefield is not impervious to adamantium and high- powered lasers. While using her armor, Hisako has demonstrated the ability to hurl Wolverine and even assisted Colossus in restraining a small ship capable of breaking orbit from lifting off Hisako is also fond of Twitter.

2. Cecilia Reyes- A Puerto-Rican doctor, Cecilia has a lifeforce generated forcefield. It can protect her from danger, but she does feel the impact of blows. During her training with the X-men, Cecilia has been able to shape the field to provide her with basic melee weapons. She has shown an attraction to Beast and never adopted a codename.

3. Unuscione- Unuscione is a devout Acolyte with the power to emit a psionic exo-skeleton. Carmella's psionic exo-skeleton can lift, grab and also fry your brain,and is also able to generate bioelectric energy charges through her exoskeleton that cause intense pain and a temporary disruption of a living being's neurosynaptic impulses, resulting in a loss of autonomic body function.

4. Unus the Untouchable- Unus the Untouchable possessed the power to generate a psionic barrier of energy around his body. This energy served to push away or deflect nearby objects. Unus has deflected beams of energy, objects of high mass, objects travelling at high speed and telepathy, including that of Charles Xavier. His rumored to be the father of the Acolyte Unuscione and died by suffocating himself (twice).

5. Skids - Skids possesses the mutant superhuman ability to create a force field around herself and others, totaling an area of approximately 30 cubic feet, with her being in the center. The field itself protects Skids from harm by covering her with a completely frictionless surface. Skids was once brainwashed into joining the MLF.

It just didn't make any sense. Armor makes it through being swept off to an alien planet with the complete destruction of Earth at stake, and then she completely flakes out to make Pixie even more uber? I could have cried myself.

But we have to remember this is the same writer to feels/believes Pixie has e-nuff experiences to to a full time x-man/main x-team members over Surge (pixie former leader) He said in a podcast interview that Surge didn't have e-nuff experiences/to young & etc to be on the main X-men & that why he got Northstar (which is cool because he's knows more than Surge & etc.). So he had to make Armor look weak so he make Pixie look super cool.

Sadly, probably never. I really liked the Corbo brothers. And even though Jack Flash disagrees with me!!!! I would've loved to see Radius as the new Unus.

Then again Seagle's buddy Joe Kelly is doing big things at Marvel, so who knows???

I think its really lame that they depowered all three of the mutant members (minus Ghost Girl, I guess but shedidntcountIdidntthink).
