For me, there was no loser in this series. A dynasty team playing against a team full of two of the NHL's biggest new stars in Crosby and Malkin. And it went a full seven games, the last two of which were won on last minute saves.

The real winners are the fans. This was what the NHL needed to start bringing the sport back into the spotlight it deserves. A great finals.

there were actually fireworks in my neighborhood when the Penguins iced the Wings... it was 4th of July a couple of weeks early... if only Ben were here to see it and join in on the celebration... :evilsmile: :cool:

yeah, but at least Chicago has the satisfaction of seeing the team that screwed THEM getting screwed themselves by the Penguins... :evilsmile: :biggrin:
