^_^ Thank you General!
1. Barbara Gordon
--- First Superhero I could identify with.
2. Helena Bertinelli
--- She just kicks ass and looks good doing it.
3. Dinah Laurel Lance
--- Um, she's blonde, she's hot, she has a killer scream and oh yeah fishnets, totally.
4. Zinda Blake
--- I love the 40's, I love Zinda, enough said.
5. Donna Troy
--- Can we say f**k yeah? I love her more than Diana, so much more interesting to me!
6. Karen Starr
--- There's a song for her, from PCD ft. Will I AM, just saying oh yeah and she's like equal to Superman, far out!
7. Selina Kyle
--- There's a whip, need I say more?
8. Diana Prince
--- Golden lasso, bracelets, supermodel figure, with a kick ass legacy.
9. Kathy Kane
--- Yummy I love Batwomen too.
10. Katherine Spencer
--- Manhunter? Ef yeah. I'm down with her. She feels like the Girl Dare Devil minus being blind, Federal Prosecutor taking the law into her own hands. Hopefully one Dare Diva could forgive me for the comparison. ^_^

Huh. See, I think the appeal of half the women mentioned is that they aren't divas.
If I had to go with a diva... Maybe Fire?
I think of divas as being a mix of priss, glam, temper and drive.
DC's top women tend to either be more approachable "girl next door" types or fierce, no-nonsense butt-kickers.

ooo. . Fire's a good one.
but your description of "diva" certainly fits my choices: Dream Girl, Spider Girl, Knockout, and the original Ivy concept (pre-eco-terrorist characterization).
Catwoman? eh. . in my mind, she's a diva :p

Yeah. Your choices struck me as the most spot-on "divas".
I'd maybe add Saturn Queen. There's one girl who is, on one hand, a driven authoritarian and, on the other hand, has a lot of girl-y traits as well.
I think DC has a lot fewer "divas" than Marvel as DC femmes tend to be a bit more butch or a bit more girly and a "diva", used in a non-insulting capacity, really embodies the kind of person who has a balance of the two and is very comfortable with their sexuality.
DC women tend to break down into the virgin-sister-mother roles a lot more and I think a "diva" basically manages to be none of those things.
