We've been shown various oaths of various Corps (and related characters) so far. Which one do you think works the best or is your personal favourite?
Green Lanterns:
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!
Sinestro Corps:
In blackest day, in brightest night,
Beware your fears made into light
Let those who try to stop what's right,
Burn like my power... Sinestro's might!
Red Lanterns:
With blood and rage of crimson red,
Ripped from a corpse so freshly dead,
Together with our hellish hate,
We'll burn you all--
That is your fate
Blue Lanterns:
In fearful day, in raging night,
With strong hearts full our souls ignite,
When all seems lost in the War of Light,
Look to the stars--
For hope burns bright!
Black Lanterns:
The Blackest Night falls from the skies.
The darkness grows as all light dies.
We crave your hearts and your demise.
By my black hand, the dead shall rise!
Alpha Lanterns:
In days of peace, in nights of war
Obey the Laws forever more
Misconduct must be answered for,
Swear us the chosen: The Alpha Corps!
Alan Scott:
...and I shall shed my light over dark evil.
For the dark things cannot stand the light,
The light of the Green Lantern!

I prefer the orange oath.

I went with original Green Lantern. Its just classic. The others arnt bad, but how many times have we seen the green lanterns proclaim the oath while taking on some monstrosity?

That line has actually got me wondering...
The Red Rings stop the wearer's heart so it might be regarded that Red Lanterns are dead. Could they then become rather susceptible/vulnerable to the influence of the Black Lanterns...?

I like both the classic Green Lantern oath and the oath of the Blue Lanterns. I might go with Blue, just because...

Any one have the G'nort versions from the Brave & Bold episode in which he could not remember the oath?
I like them all, especially blue, red and green, but voted green. I still hear Phil Lamar in my head when I read it; from the Justice League cartoon episode.

...Note that this was also recycled as Tomar Re's oath when he first appeared in Green Lantern V1. The real surprise was how many fans at the time remembered that was originally Alan's oath!

Especially since Alan had switched to the one Hal used before the 40s had ended. The non-rhyming one really was only around for a few years.

There also was this one from Guy Gardner's first "appearance" in a sort of "what if..." kinda story in GL 59:
On worlds afar or scenes at home
Wherever the cause should make me roam

To combat evil - with all Green Lantern's might.
