Holy crap no. I want her as oracle and for them to ENORMOUSLY tone down how well she can fight in a wheel chair. Thank you.

Nope. I like her better as Oracle.

I don't care as long as Batgirl is written well. :)

It would probably be fun to see her back in the cape again for a little while, maybe a year or a little longer. I think she is fine as Oracle, but going back to the Batgirl identity just seems like a step back in time for her. I would rather see Spoiler get the chance to play the role for a time instead.

I woud like her to walk again, but continue on as Oracle.
As Oracle, Babs is a major player in the DCU. (Despite the Calculator being tacked on as her arch enemy. )
As Batgirl, she's a niche character in an overcrowded section of the DCU.
That said, if they did Babsgirl well, then I could get behind that.

Odd wheelchair-fetish responses abound.

I think I would be okay with any number of people being Batgirl.

Odd ablist responses abound.
No, I don't think wanting Babs to go back to Batgirl is ablist, but I'm following your 'logic', okay?

Babs going back to being Batgirl is such a backwards move. Her as the wheelchair bound Oracle is a far more interesting character.

Babs is awesome and unique as Oracle. REALLY not wanting her to take the huge step backwards that would be her becoming Batgirl.

I would prefer a walking Oracle to a Batgirl retread.

This is off topic, but at the same time, not worth making a new topic.
Barbara often describes how much fun it was being Batgirl, as she self describes, she was sexy, all the guys wanted her, etc.
Is she the only person (in the Bat family) who still considers being in the vigilante business fun? Tim use too but I don't really get that vibe from him, same for Dick.
I guess my point is, I understand fully missing her walking, but I don't get her missing the actual physical crime fighting when she's clearly more effective where she is.

Hahahaha, no. Never.
A walking Oracle I could stand (but why?), but I see no reason for her to return as...ick, Batgirl.

For one thing wouldn't she be Batwoman, now?
I voted "no" - the only benefit of her returning as Batgirl, would be getting to see her run around in that suit! :D

A little while ago I may have said yes (actually I would have said "YES, YES, DAMMIT YES!"), but I think that time has now passed, especially with a new Batwoman on the scene. It just doesn't make much sense anymore.

Quoted for truth...

Just wondering what was the last year she was Batgirl ?

I'm in the minority here as I see, but I never liked the whole concept of a wheelchair bound computer whiz that can hack into anything as if by magic. It seems that every comic or TV show has a token character that can access information and provide easy answers for anything to the rest of the characters.
Barbara Gordon as Batgirl was special to me as a character because she chose to be Batgirl (at least in the pre-Crisis world) instead of being forced into it because of some past tragedy.
If Barbara Gordon walked again and became Batgirl some readers would feel cheated, but much stranger things have happened in the DC Universe.

A walking oracle? LOL! That's like a Hawkman with no wings.
