Dirty Deeds!

"Dirty Deeds" is a series of threads where a discussion can be held about the morally questionable, or outright evil acts of characters in comics. It might be a discussion about times a hero crossed a moral line they shouldn't have, or a discussion of a villain's most horrific acts in their history, but the premise remains the same.

Where possible, a poll will be included to vote upon said character's "dirtiest deed".

Please do remember that there are no wrong answers, this is all a matter of opinion. Since everyone has a different set of morals, please try and respect differences in people's own beliefs.

The sixty-second edition of Dirty Deeds is here, and I thought we might go ahead and look at a character who decided it wasn’t enough to be a bastard in the future, so he came back to the past to start whacking some beloved characters… for… points in an arbitrary contest? What an ass! That’s right, we’re looking at that green-haired maniac known as…

Trevor Fitzroy!!!

- Attempting to escape the X.U.E. by taking Shard hostage, then using Greystone’s life force to escape in a time portal? (revealed in X-Factor (vol. 1) #141)

- While in custody for his crimes in Bishop’s future, lying and telling the X.S.E. the location of an enclave of Emplates was the Exhumes’ headquarters, leading to his own former teammate and girlfriend, Shard being bitten and turned into one herself? (revealed in X.S.E. #3)

- Absorbing the life force of a rat to begin an escape from XSE Headquarters? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #287)

- Absorbing the life force of two guards to continue his escape from XSE Headquarters? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #287)

- Joining the Upstarts, and participating in a game of murder for points? (revealed in Uncanny X-Men #281)

- Absorbing the life force of Jetstream, killing him? (Uncanny X-Men #281-282)

- Grabbing the Hellion known as Beef, and throwing him out of the upper stories of the Hellfire Club, to the street below, killing him? (Uncanny X-Men #281 )

- Killing the rest of the Hellions in a Sentinel attack that left both Emma Frost and Jean Grey comatose?(Uncanny X-Men #281-282)

- Absorbing the life force of Tarot, killing her? (Uncanny X-Men #282)

- Deliberately lying to Shinobi Shaw about having murdered all the X-Men? (Uncanny X-Men #282)

- Chopping off the finger of Shinobi Shaw to steal the ring awarded to the Black King of the Hellfire Club? (Uncanny X-Men #282)

- Taking a small army of criminals from the future to the present to serve him? (Uncanny X-Men #282)

- Closing one of his temporal portals on the criminal from his timeline, Kroeger, ripping him to shreds? (Uncanny X-Men #282)

- Trapping his fellow Upstart, Selene, in the torturous device known as the “Spooling Chamber”? (Uncanny X-Men #301)

- Attempting to murder Mystique, Bishop, and Forge at his Aerie in Dallas, cutting off half of Forge’s bionic leg before blowing up the whole building? (Uncanny X-Men #301-302)

- Recruiting Siena Blaze as an Upstart, by telling her she’d end up in a Sentinel Camp in the future, anyway? (Uncanny X-Men Annual #17)

- Attacking X-Force in the hopes of killing Rictor and Warpath as part of the Younghunt part of the Upstarts Competition? (X-Force (vol. 1) #32-33)

- Trying to force himself upon the psionic construct of Madelyne Pryor in London? (X-Man #17)

- Serving Selene as her servant in the Hellfire Club? (X-Man #21-28)

- Assisting Sebastian Shaw in trying to locate one of Apocalypse’s lairs to raid it of its futuristic technology? (Cable (vol. 1) #51)

- Slaughtering an entire New York City tenement building’s denizens to fuel his time portals? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #1)

- Kidnapping Shard and locking her away in a tower of his castle, in the hopes that she’d love him again, and lure Bishop to him to be killed? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #2-14)

- Absorbing the life force of five children, all the while convincing them he was playing an innocent game? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #3)

- Absorbing the life forces of all of his advisers at Chronokeep? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #10)

- Keeping children locked in his basement to be kept as slave labor under the lash? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #10)

- Goading Bishop by licking a captive, disoriented Shard’s face? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #12)

- Opening time portals to send each of Tracker’s limbs to a different time period, slowly dismembering him? (Bishop: The Last X-Man #13)

He’s been a dirty cop, a time-traveller, and a flat-out mass-murderer! Now vote for what you think is the worst of Trevor Fitzroy’s “Dirty Deeds”!

Okay, I have to ask, is he aiming for some all new world scumbag record darling? It's not often you encounter a villain who makes DR LIGHT look good by comparison but I think we have one right here

Attempting to rape psionic construct Maddie in an alley does give him Dr. Light vibe. Plus enslaving children, and goading Bishop by licking his captive sister's face. But he's a bastard son of a future timeline's Hellfire Club member who murdered his way into his inheritance. That part of his origin alone means he's going to have some potential for sadism and sexual deviency.

Kink's one thing. Full blown potential vorephilic repeat offender of sex crimes is another.

You forgot to add

the dirtiest deed was the creation of the character by the writer.

This character was a phenomenal twat. Astronomically wank, in a comic book universe where wank appears to be the norm (Hello Uncanny)

I hate him.
I hate his stuipid snot coloured hair
I hate his dodgy goatee
I hate his ridiculous clothes
I hate his dumb ass powers.

The character is one the biggest mistakes to ever grace the pages of the X-men franchise and lets be honest there are a hell of a lot of 'mistakes' to choose from.

stupid Fu*^£$^ wa&%$£^ bas£%£ killing the Hellions. Cheap ass writing by some dumb as F£^&* writer.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Fitzroy embodied just about everything that was wrong with comics in the 1990s.

Vastly overpowered, and to prove it, he whacks beloved D-Listers.
Said power requires him to easily kill people via energy absorption. Which he does. A lot.
Said power also introduces a whole new alternate future timeline, where things are even grittier.
As if he's not powered enough, putting him in future-tech armor.
Color design based around neon hues.
Easily placing himself amongst villains of some influence, despite constantly exhibiting he's a "me-first" traitor.

All this, from just one character.

This was one sick dog I was happy to see Cable kill, but I guess he resurfaced and was supposedly killed by Bishop? Still happy if this is true.
Some Villians should be killed and stay dead.

Even if it's just a comic book, the way he murdered the new hellion's was sick.
I still remmember the girl (can't remember her name) begging him not to do it.

That's it. The worst deed ever committed in any X-Book besides Xorn killing Jean. This makes the destruction of D'Bari look like the euthanasia of the poor sick pony with terminal disease and chronic pain aka Butter Rum.

I'm sorry, but Bishop: The Last X-Man is not currently in stock in TPB at my LCS.

As justinkos91 pointed out, that was Tarot. Who was oddly killed twice, in #281, by one of Fitzroy's Sentinels after being chased down, and then he had her as his captive in #282, and he drained her as she begged him to stop. Then she turned up alive again, like eight years later, in X-Force. Whatever the "Death" card gave her as an edge never got explained, and probably never will, as she was depowered on M-Day.

My theory? Marvel's not wanting comic book fans to get confused and accidentally by Jim Balent's "Tarot: Witch of the Black Rose" and think it's a Marvel book.
