I remember buying the Uncanny X-Men issue of this crossover during the early 90's and really enjoying it and its repercussions.

It was especially cool when we saw Wolverine losing his adamantium, Colossus defecting to the Acolytes, and Xavier mind wiping Magneto. I think this was one of the better crossovers during the 90's and it had quite a bit of characters and action going on which made it even better.
What did you guys thing of this crossover and would you like to see this traded again in some form?
It was one of the main reasons I quit collecting X-men comics.

I thought it was great. It was one of the few times Bishop was not completely useless, though it was an accident and he couldn't really help himself.

I thought the issues were great on their own.
But they didn't really work well together, IMO.

Yeah, when I read it the Avolan bits seemed confusing. In one issues it was sent off into space,in another it was back ,unexplained.I enjoyed the Colossus defection though.

Plus, Magneto CRASHING Ilyana's funeral for a recruitment drive/promises of death to those who oppose him.
Classy.

I think that can be applied to some while others fall into the more "loosely tied in" thing.

Having just reread the first 3 issues of Adjless X-Men, can someone explain how Magneto went from that to this psychopath?

The world went to hell. Mutants were suffering worse than they ever had at this point, thanks to the Legacy Virus. Magneto decided that harsher times called for harsher measures.
Plus it's been stated that his powers screw with his mind. He was throwing them about like crazy in this arc and that probably drove him pretty nuts

I really liked the X-Factor part of Fatal Attractions best. But overall it was very good imo. I'm surprised it hasn't been put into trade yet.

Actually darling it has. Though it'll cost you a fair bit of cash on Amazon as I think it's out of print now

I'm glad I got the originals then. Was it all in one volume or did they split it up?

One of my favorite storylines. Especially when Mags just ripped Wolverine's metal off of his bones. Also, Wolverine #75, where Wolvie and Jubes have their little chat about his bones. Classic. I really liked how over in Excalibur, Kitty is forced to use the love they once shared to try to convince Peter to come back to them. Well, he was tricked into thinking Kitty was there to gow ith him, but whatever.

I believe it's just one volume. It was only six issues long, I don't see why it'd be more than one tpb.

True. It'd be awesome if that's what the cover was, was the 3-d hologram cards.

About 7 or 8 years ago I was able to abtain a copy of the Fatal Attractions tpb from Mile High Comics.I think I paid about $13.00. .It has 259 pages.
I liked the suffering of Wolverine issue and the first shock of seeing his bone claws in Wolverine 75.
Otherwise, the Magneto pulls adamantium out is a gimmick and everyone knew he was gonna get it back sooner or later.

Retardedly out of character, given how close Magnus and Yana actually were. Ugh 90s.

I dropped the books after reading this story. I wasn't a fan at all. I came back not long after. This was a masochistic pattern I followed through many of the awful x-crossovers of the 90's.

I loved X-Factor 92. Great Pietro story. I also liked X-Force 25 and what happened to Cable. I guess it was a little preview of what Logan received huh?
Uncanny 304 was on it and so was X-Men 25. The Excalibur issue was so-so. Colossus' part in that made it worth something.

Gotta say, I still love X-Men 25.
It was an expensive issue for me as a kid, I'd won some money from speech and drama comps that week, and spent it to get that issue on the newsstand.
Ahhh memories.

I liked Fatal Attractions quite a bit at the time it first came out... it was basically my first exposure to the X-Men. As a dumb kid, naturally I flipped for the hologram covers, and I thought the fights and huge loud action were excellent.
As I got older, I realized it's kind of the equivalant of the live-action Transformers movie. Lots of flash and substance, lots of shit blowing up and big popcorn action scenes. If that's all you want, then God bless; I won't judge you, just enjoy it for what it is. But for longtime fans who care about plot holes and consistent characterization, it starts to lose a lot of its luster. Magneto crashing Illyana's funeral, Xavier bringing a dude with metal bones against Magneto... those things are the equivalent of Ironhide tripping on power lines, or Bumblebee peeing on that dude, or Spike's dad talking about masturbation, or Optimus Prime saying "Sorry, my bad." For younger fans who don't know any better or people who don't take it too seriously, those scenes are probably just fine. For diehard fans who really care about the source material, they're incredibly cringe-inducing. That's Fatal Attractions in a nutshell.
That said, there were definitely some cool scenes, and I still hold a fondness for it as my introduction to the X-Men. It's just that I can look at it with a more critical eye these days.
