My question is what are peoples favorite Green Lantern stories? (Doesnt have to be limited to the GL series)

So far, SINESTRO CORPS WAR. With a bit of cheating / stretching the definition of an arc, Johns' super-arc, reaching from DAY OF JUDGMENT to BLACKEST NIGHT (and whatever comes after, if he's still around.)

I voted for sinestro corps war. Rebirth comes close though.

Sinestro Corps War. Rebirth a close second. Hopefully Blackest Night will blow them all away and what the hell is emerald twilight doing in the poll for the best story arc ?

Emerald Twilight was the most controversial arc, of course its got to be on there. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't have value.

Yes it is one of the most controversial arcs and yes it does have value but none of it is in a good way.

I would agree with this sentiment. The massive plot holes, mass mis-characterisation, etc ... it simply was not a good story.

I know Marz had his hands tied to a large degree when he wrote it (both editorial dictate and time) but ... it was simply rubbish.

I went with Sinestro Corps War, but this entire run, from Rebirth on, has been that storyline.

But, without it, we wouldn't have eventually had "Rebirth" :biggrin:

As much as it wasn't that great or anything that the fans really wanted, it gave us some good stories...years later. And Kyle for that matter.
