Simple question, out of the non-mutant X-Characters who would you choose be an Honorary Mutant?
My pick: Deadpool
Just so he could futher extend the running joke, and rub it in the X-Men's faces.

If she'd get the stick out of her bum, I'd accept Carol Danvers.

Spider-man cause he has the angst down pat and he is buddies with most of them.

When the only one that hasn't been mention that has a connection to the mutant verse is Mimic

Mimic is a pretty good choice... but really, I'd also think about Taskmaster.
Photographic reflexes? A power he's just born with? Hmm...

Since I found out he is not really a mutant, Jamie Madrox needs to be made into a mutant..

Madrox wasn't "unmade", necessarily, by the story told by Damian Tryp and the whole "killcrop" thing.
Possibly similar to Kitty Pryde being a Neo.

Mimic. He needs to part of the 'ol mutant race. He just dosen't seem to fit as a super powered human. It would make more sense to just confirm him as a mutant.
However it's cool that Calvin was the first non mutant member of the X-Men.

So Kitty Pryde is not really a mutant, too?
It feels like the x-writers are making things too complicated than it should be..

A Neo once said Kitty wasn't a mutant, she was a Neo.
It was never touched on again.
Likewise, this whole "killcrop" thing with Madrox came from the words of a villain... and it hasn't been followed up on, really.
But a rose by any other name, is still some kind of mutant. It could be as good as how Wolveirne, Sabretooth, Feral, etc. were referred to as "lupines" not to long ago, as well.

So with Kitty and Madrox, are they innocent until proven guilty? I mean, mutants until proven otherwise?

Villains on panel throwing outrageous crap out there to mess with their heads is always a possibility. Coming up positive for the X-gene all these other times when Sentinels are around kinda outweighs that, for me.

but as you said a Rose by another name. Kitty and Jamie could be special types of mutants. I mean the neo were depowered with the rest of the mutants by high evolutionary right?

I remember Madrox being detected as mutant in Messiah Complex.. or his dupe was detected as mutant.. so that is why I would say he is mutant.

Right? And I'm like, "what the hell does Damian Tryp know about s***, anyways?"
PAD will sort it out, in time, I'm sure. He's hinted one of the Tryps will be back in X-Factor, if I'm not mistaken, in interviews recently.

So, since WBE and I established Madrox is mutant until proven otherwise.. aside from a villian just saying otherwise..
I would make Layla Miller a mutant. From Messiah Complex detection and nondetection it seems very much a big question.

Cameron Hodge, Donald Pierce, FoH. They all would have the ability turn a bright phosphorus green when they are afraid or being attacked because they are mutants.

Nurse Annie.
She already went through that initiation.
Iceman: "So you gave birth to a mutant."
Annie: Uh... yeah?
Iceman: "So then you like, totally put out."
Annie: "..."
Iceman: "Was the dad a mutant?"
Annie: "That's none of your business."
Iceman: "Well, if not, you must have some mutant in you."
Annie: "I do not have any mutant in me, Bobby."
Iceman: "Do you want some mutant in you?"
*dim lights, cue Barry White music*
Then repeat for Havok, and the line of mutants to follow.
