He's like the ruthless ruler who hail by people as a hero but is a evil monster to those who know better and to this day , they both hail as heroes to their country man despite being known for the murder and death they cause cruely to his enemies. Fiction also depict them as supernatural demonic monster. Dracula is not known to be real by the marvel people at large athough after Vampire State in Captain Britian, he might as well be as well known as any other villian to the public. Oda Nobunaga as been depicted as a demonic warlord who commands armies of demons like the Onimusha games, and various animes and games.

I don't know enough about Nobunaga to comment, but I would argue there is a difference between Dracula and Osborn and you shouldn't confuse the fictionalized version with the historical version.

The historical Dracula was a cruel monster, but at the same times even looked back on centuries later is known for establishing justice for the peasents and valuing honesty. He lived at a time when cruelty like he practiced was more wide spread (though some of what he did was considered extreme for his day) and on the whole was quite literally surrounded by enemies. Dracula from what I hear is still overall considered a hero in Romania to this day.

Osborn on the other hand doesn't give a care about justice and is willing to turn a blind eye to the criminal element as long as they give him his cut. If someone gets in his way he will not hesitate to make them disappear.

He reminds me of George Dubya Bush frankly. A man who gained power without earning it, and is quickly destroying the country through lies and manipulation. Maybe with a dash of Dick Cheney for flavor.

there's something about him though, for me there's that sliver of a chance that he'll turn into a very reluctant hero.

That'd be an interesting twist.
