I think it's a flashback to Mr. Lao's origins. It matches what was revealed at the end of the miniseries.

Why is there no subscription available for this book at Marvel.com, anyway? Come on Marvel, get a move on! Make AOA available for subscription!

Also, I'd like to see Temugin's name addes to the little begining blurb! He's been an awesome addition to the book, and I'd like to see his name added to the cast whenever that little, "the robot! The gorilla!" etc thing is shown.

Lol! That would be hilarious, but more realistically it would be some like "the martial artist" or "the mystic" since he's a master of mystic Chi channeling martial arts.

Jimmy Woo read Temugins name off a wall, just recently, before he was fried in Issue #1 by Mr Lao. And this was way before Temugin was mentioned by Mr Lao as Jims successor.

I think the Temugin on the wall was the original Temugin, aka Ghenghis Khan. Tem Borjigin, aka The Mandarin, is obsessed with his ancestor, and named his son after him.
