So which bad baldie do you like better...

1. Dr. Thaddeus Sivana. Scientist, mogul, founder of Sivana Industries. One of the four largest conglomerates on Earth.

2. Lex Luthor. Billionaire, mogul, founder and C.E.O. of Lexcorp. Third largest conglomerate on Earth.

Lex Luthor all the way. He is the greatest superhero's arch nemesis. Plus, if you poll 100 people, 95 of them will know Luthor, we'll I'd say MAYBE 2 would know Sivana.

Agreed. Cap. Marvel is my favorite DC hero. But I give the nod to Lex, it's not even close. Sivana never seems to pose the threat that Lex always does.

Very true, but I'd figure a few people would know of Sivana considering this is a forum specifically targeting DC fans. With that said, I still expect Luthor to win by a wide margin for obvious reasons.

I voted for Sivana, not only because he is the old school arch-villain of my favorite hero, but he also turned out to be indirectly responsible for the main conflict of 52, posing a serious threat to the Multiverse. Plus, his fishies produced Beautia :biggrin:. I like both of these guys, and it's especially interesting to see them interact together, like in Superman/Shazam First Thunder or in Final Crisis when Sivana joined Luthor in betraying Libra.

I love Sivana, but Lex is more versatile.
Every attempt to change Sivana from a cackling evil mad scientist (yes, even Jeff Smith's) has been disastrous.
Whereas I quite like old school crim Lex, purple and green jumpsuit Lex, powersuit Lex, Byrne-era Corporate scumbag Lex, Jon Shea, Michael Rosenbaum and Clancy Brown.
I never did warm to Hackman as Lex, tho'.

Sivana is more fun. Luthor has been pretty lame lately (outside of Morrisonverse, that is).

Wow, it's actually suprisingly close so far. Still early though. Go Sivana! My wife loves Luthor. Actually, she has a thing for Michael Rosenbaum. I fear it's Michael that has her heart, not me :frown: .

the original Superman story was about .. well.. Lex Luthor..
and that was published in 1933

naturally.. the nest time we see him he is kinda split into Clark Kent and Lex Luthor

Luthor's more formidable/versatile, but I've always found Sivana to be much much more entertaining.

It's all about name recognition

That's because Sivana's always too busy with one of two things:

1. His scientific research & breakthroughs

2. Venus ......That alone gives Sivana an edge. He overcame his physical limitations and nabbed a physical specimen like Venus Sivana.
