Over at Sequential Crush (http://sequentialcrush.blogspot.com/2009/05/i-spy-with-my-little-eye.html) (a brand new blog focusing on romance comics), Jacque has found a woman wearing a Green Lantern ring in a Mike Sekowsky drawn story.
I love it!
I'm wondering if anyone has ever notice any other superhero easter eggs in either Marvel or DC romance books. I know Sekowsky had a particularly good sense of humor - but perhaps the likes of Colan or Buscema had a little fun as well.

Wow! That's amazing.
I'm certain that his passing was noted here at the time - but I imagine the thread has been deleted. He was a very talented artist - you could tell that he received a true art/illustration education before entering the field.
I hope you stick around here as we have some interesting discussions regarding all sort of old funnybooks - including romance comics (although a few people are still ashamed to admit that they like them!)
