Ya know, the gals who went to Paradise Island during Countdown and became the new Amazons.
Did Hippy just feed them to her pet Griffons?

And why did Jason Todd suddenly stop being Red Robin and start going crazy? And does Jimmy Olsen still know who Superman is?
(And for the record, "The Countdown Amazons" would be a cool band name.)

Jason Todd ended up tossing the Red Robin costume in a garbage can. It seemed to be DC quickly changing their minds as usual regarding him and deciding he really shouldn't be Red Robin either.
Thus far Todd has pretty much been yanked from 2 roles he likely would have had. Before Didio changed his mind on Dick staying alive , he ended up killing Bruce Jones storyline where Todd became Nightwing.

Dammit I paid good money to have my memories of Countdown supressed and now look at what you've gone and done!

They've picked and chosen what to keep from Countdown. For example, I think we're heading into the new Gotham City Sirens series with the definite setup that Holly and Harley are friends--something which wouldn't have existed without Countdown.

They were still on the island as of the Green Arrow/Black Canary storyline weren't they? Just think of them as the cannon fodder extras for the next time Darkseid decides to invade Paradise Island.

I realize people spent a lot of time and money on Countdown and its tie-ins. The problem is that everyone is ignoring so it is just to pretend it never happened.

I bought the main Countdown series and never bought the tie-ins beyond the 1st issue of Lord Havoc & the Extremists. Everything else was ignored by me. Like how DC ignores this.

I remember reading your reviews on each issue. That was some funny stuff.
I feel bad for people who bought 52 issues of this, plus all the other minis and oneshots related to Countdown To Final Crisis only find out everything they read was noncanical and will have no bearing on any DCU book.

Now I'll be honest...it was good til it got to the mid to late 30's . Then once it killed Trickster ...the series repeated the same story over and over.
1.) GRUESOME TORTURE
2.) DEATH AND TORTURE....TORTURE AND DEATH !
3.) MORE DEATH !
4.) WORLDS EXPLODE !
It was just sad to be honest. And the whole Mary Marvel redemption arc was blew . DC decided against Jason Todd being RED ROBIN...and never told Grant Morrison anything of what they had done leading up to this clusterfuck.

that they got swept up in the anti-life zombie rioting that was going on during Final Crisis. Some probably died. Some probably went back to more or less normal lives. They clearly weren't around when the neo-Nazis tried to invade the island and Hypolyta had to defend it by herself.
Or as Obi-Wan might say, these aren't the Amazons you're looking for. Move along.

They went to wherever the New Guardians went to: Whogivesacrapville.
That's in Kentucky, I believe.
(Apologies to Kentucky.)
